This Forum has been dead for quite a while.

I understand (fully) that a great deal of our members
would prefer that it stay that way. I, however, am a
dyed-in-the-wool political junkie. I'll not apologize nor
attempt to explain that particular trait. "It is what it is."

Any subjects worthy of wicked vitriol and malice today?

This is actually the first electionin which I will vote. Last election I was not old enough to run for President. I am now and will be writing my name in. I know I can do better than these clowns.

first order of business.

Lets take care of our elderly*** and our youth

If you are of the ages between 18-65, get your hiney to work. If you are not disabled and can work, you better start now cause the welfare is drying up quick. I need ditch diggers and roofers and landscapers cause a lot of illegals will be flying south for winter and not returning.

If you are over 65 and have over $5,000,000 of total assets your social security check is coming to a halt, I still will pick up medicaid but the cash flow is stopping. Its only way we can make it work.

Oh and certain disability payments will be ending soon too.. I know a lot of folks living off my uncle sam who are more than capable of getting off their obese behind and working.

Since were so fond of mottos in this country I have a new one which will be on every billboard and TV station for the next 4 years

Work makes free and if we want to stay a free country, with free being an arbitrary word, then we will ahve to work on it. (Yeah I know it sounds all gestapo'ish and stuff but we need to get serious, no more deadbeats)

Oh and finally there are going to be 400+ former congressman out of work and a few thousand still living off americas paychecks that are going to need a new income, as Im cutting off that money paid for life and firing the house completely, Less will be more and 100 senators, richard and myself should be able to make all the decisions we need without crap getting bogged down.

Pac and lobbyists, SEE YA.. you will no longer have folks to influence so spend your money hiring folks and geting work done. Highways, bridges, dams education take your pick we will find a outlet for your resources and money!

Term limits.. Heck ya.. 6 years, one and done. Thanks for coming, appreciate your service now skeedaddle!

President and Veep can still run 2 consecutive terms or 8 combined. Oh and we will hold elections for the Cabinet, just to prove that making IT potentially bi partisan and for the people and by the people will be a huge plus for getting it done at the executive level.

Washington get ready to rock and roll baby.. We are bringing the southern boogie to the mall.

Well, the"Cardocrat" Presidential nominee has spoken.

Now it's time for the VP's "fantasy" platform . . .

2 years mandatory National Service. This may be U.S. Military/Peace Corp/or any non-profit organization (public/ private) that enhances this planet or its occupants. There will be no deferments, every citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 will fulfill this obligation, regardless of gender, connection(s) or religious tenet.

I fully realize that this is a complete reversal from some of my more Libertarian ideals, nonetheless, we can't afford to have 1% of our population doing the fighting and dying for our freedoms.

The House of Representatives and the United States Senate will be considered 9 to 5 jobs. The members will do the jobs that they were elected to do. This will be enforced by deadlines on required spending bills and liens on members paychecks if these are not met. The members of both Houses will receive Federal Holidays off and two weeks paid vacation per year. Both houses of the legislature will be in session for 52 weeks per year.

Fundraising will become a thing of the past for Representatives in the House and the Senate. Television ads, Online ads, printed and radio ads will be free for the candidates. The printers, broadcasters, and pundits will publish, air and disseminate all political ads out-of-pocket. All political ads will be limited in duration and number of airings per week.

There will be an immediate moratorium on campaign contributions. No individual, corporation or group may supply any candidate with any financial aid. Individuals may contribute up to $5.00 per year/per individual to any political party.

The barbaric practice of Capital Punishment will be abolished at a Federal and State level via Constitutional amendment.

I reserve the right to add, edit and compromise on these tenets of my platform.

Obviously, Steve and I haven't had a lot of time to confer and compromise on our philosophies. We'll iron these thing out

Now that I've fired up the fantasy portion of my less-than-pragmatic mind, I believe I'll hunt down that T206 Wagner card that I sorely need!

And if you cut the printed ad business, how you gonna make any money.. Oh wait your the Veep so. Wait did I tell you that dreyfuss chick is much better looking than you, Oh well I digress.. I like natalie portman more so who cares.

And I kind of like eye for an eye justice.. dont necesarily believe in the death penalty but want to make sure the punishment fits the crime. So Ill take one stand here.

Males you rape or sodomize a child and I will publicly remove the part you cant control. A few of those broadcast ought to end that desire!
