Very valid point Mark. I'm going to delay payments back 4 days in hopes someone will take another slot or we'll get a new member or 2.

Our other option is to do what we did last month, just combine both months and combine August into September's break.

I'll be in Seattle then Chicago from 9/17 to 9/28. I wouldnt be opposed to combining again as it might help me with my trip financially. Again, whatever the group decides is fine by me.

I would prefer we do it monthly, but I have struggled to find anyone to take those extra slots. Not sure what to do, as I really don't want a double month again. I got killed last month with two small packages of base for $52. Not complaining as I have had my good months, but I feel that sometimes my good months have come from the drafted team instead of my owned team and when we combine two month,s I only get one option of a drafted team (whereas monthly I would have a drafted team each month which may or may not be the same). Please don't take my prior points the wrong way, but what made this group fun was getting together every month for a break and having a chance at a second drafted team each month.

I am not sure what to do, maybe it is time to cut the group down to 10 and maybe raise the fee $5-10? Not saying to do that, but it might be the only thing that makes sense to keep it going monthly, if we are going to be short two members each month. I don't know and I am open for suggestions.

I really just don't want to wait another month for a hockey break. That is one of the things I enjoyed about being in the group. I guess my thought is that if the group is going to be bi-monthly I am going to stay for this one and drop afterwards.

Ace - part of the problem you're running into is one I've seen a lot on sites. If you have the same people locked into the top teams indefinitely, you will have a very tough time finding people to fill the others which aren't nearly as attractive.

Yeah, but we have done relatively well for the last year plus with 13+ steady members and a few add ins here and there. It has been more recently that we have had trouble filling the group, maybe more the economy, but I agree owned teams is a drawback if your team is already gone. Even the draft groups are having trouble filling. And even with that if you end up in a bad draft position you risk the same issue of not getting your team. The same exist if all teams are through random.org. I think people prefer draft or being the first in a group for thier team.
