QUOTE(cardinal @ Feb 5 2010, 01:51 PM) That's almost as funny as when sebredsox24 said that in the 2000's Ben Roethlisberger was a better QB than Kurt Warner. What do you mean Ed Reed was better in coverage but Sean Taylor was better overall? Safety is a DEFENSIVE BACK position. DB priority #1: covering. sean taylor played the ball no matter what the play. ed reed is not a better tackler..or defensive player..he is just better at the safety position. |

QUOTE(cardinal @ Feb 4 2010, 10:31 PM) I'm not saying anything negative about Sean Taylor, I just hope you weren't serious when you said that he was the "best player i have ever seen play defense." Especially considering your a Miami fan (Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, etc. etc.) Just watched that video for the first time in maybe 2 years. One of the best football highlights ever. once again. sean taylor was better then ed reed. maybe not better in coverage but better overall. he just never got much publicity. ed reed, ray ray, and sean taylor are the best 3 defensive players from miami so thats just a choice. sean went hard every single play..he was attracted to the ball. |

Might As Well Get This One Out Of The Way. This Is The Best Football Player I Have Ever Watched Play On Defense. Say What You Want..He Was The Same Player At The U.. Non Stop, Go Hard, Hard Hitting, Play Making, Leader. THIS Guy Is What Miami Football Is About..Hasn't Been Another One Since. Before Him..Ed Reed Was That Guy. Not Alot To Say...He Was My Favorite Cane In 03. Followed Him In The Pros Just Not As Much. I Remember His Rookie Year..First Preseason Game... Hall Of Fame Game..2 Picks..1 Pick Six. Miami Born..Raised..U Alum...Ended It In Miami. RIP Meast. Sean Taylor |
