Accounting.

My main hobby now is gaming (Xbox One).  i also look for older games from time-to-time, so I am still collecting.

Pretty much the same.  No wife or kids, done with college, and still at Walmart (moved up a little bit).  What about you?
*

What did you get your degree in?

I have 2 kids and a much better job now. I think I stopped after I got my job. It was just last january where I realized I make a decent living and can restart the hobby. But this time I am wiser and more patient and don't buy boxes just the cards I want. I wish TCC has more traffic I miss the days of just seeing what everyone was up to..but its pretty dead in here plus my kids keep me busy with my extra time.

So if you don't collect anymore what do you do now as a hobby? I also collect comic books but only stopped cause they take up way to much room. Thats another reason I collect cards now cause they are much smaller..

I came back January of 2014..after being out seriously since 2008. I purchased a few graded cards from the 70's and decided to attempt to finish my parallel football sets I started in 2006. I then realized I love building refractor/parallel sets and I can just buy what I need from the internet. I have not purchased a box or entered a card shop in many years and have no desire. So now I search for my sets needs and the searching is probably 75 percent of the fun.

I use to try to collect everything like everyone else but now I sell my previous 'hits' on ebay or trade them for my set needs. I could care less about jersey cards unless they are part of a set i'm building (eg 2005 Bowman Best football).

I started this refractor set probably middle of 2014. It consisted of 220 cards where the first 55 cards are short print rookies of /500 and you could only obtain them through the regular Bowman Product.

The regular Bowman Chrome therefore consisted of no. 56-220.

I mainly choose Bowman Chrome refractors because it is a much harder set to put together than the Chrome set where you get tons of refractors a box. In Bowman Chrome you might get 5 refractors in a box, So thats a ton of boxes that must be busted to put this set together. I busted 0 boxes! HA!!

7 Cards are missing but one is incoming and I will pick up the last 2 on the internet by the end of the week and update the photos. There are 4 short print rookies that are not available at COMC, sportlots, or ebay so I must wait. So I just wanted everyone to see my slideshow to show off a bit.

Notable rookies are Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch. The Short Print rookies which are black contain Darrell Revis, Ahmad Bradshaw to name a few. Let me know what you think guys!

My goal is to get back in shape also and try to be between 198-203..right now i'm probably 215.

My set goals are to finish the 2009 Bowman Chrome X-fractor football set 1-165, the 2001 Bowman Chrome rookie refractors 111-255 and a few more that catch my attention.

So if your diarrhea was a refractor would it be an atomic refractor blue wave refractor or superfractor?

How is this set coming along? I like the look of some of them and was considering doing a green parallel or one of the parallel sets..but then Bowman Chrome football came out and now I have to keep the BC tradition going.

Great gift from your kids..some old school packs..the gesture is awesome! My favorite as a kid was the 1990 Fleer. I still remember busting a pack and getting the Barry Sanders all star insert...
