I sent out a copy of Night Witches and Batman to artist Russ Braun. Returned to me signed in less than 7 days. He was cool enough to send me a sketch too. If you want his contact info, send me a p.m.

It usually costs under $2.50 for the return stamps. I take the whole thing down and have the postman weig it and apply the stamps before I seal it up and mail it out. I figure to save time I will now just add six first class stamps ($2.52) and save time.

My buddy is going to Wonder Con in San Francisco at the end of the month. He is going to try and get some stuff signed for me there.

Thanks for replying. I was just curious, as I would like to send a couple comics out myself. Ok, I'll quit hijacking your thread. smile.gif

No no. Your not hijacking anything. I love to talk about comics and TTM autographs, so lets keep it going.

I sent out a requst to Brian Michael Bendis (creator of Marvels Secret Invasion and writer for a bunch of other titles) and sent out one comic. The postage for first class was $2.02 per envelope. It depends on how many books and how heavy they are.

I got back my X-Men comic signed by Stan Lee today. Thanks to Detroittigerfan1976 for the address.
user posted image

It seems as if Mr. Lee will sign comics, but not trading cards. I have tried twice before with sending him Marvel cards and had no luck. I sent a comic and he signed and rerturned it in a week.

My friend came back from WonderCon and got Mike Mignolas to sign my Hellboy Crooked Man comic. So now it is signed by the writer/creator and the artist.

He waited two hours to get Jim Lees autograph. Lee was only signing upto two items and wouldn't do sketches, and the wait was still two hours. He said he was real nice tho.

Congratulations on finally having a success with Stan Lee. I will have to try him again. I was going to send him a photo, but I better just take a chance with a comic. I guess it does make sense that that would be all he signed. heh.

Hellboy and B.P.R.D. artists Guy Davis was kind enough to send me a signed comic and sketch c/o his website with a donation to the Michigan Humane Society in his name, which I did.

Ryan Sook signed my issue of BPRD Hollow Earth #1 c/o home addres in one week.

The legend and master comic book demi-god Joe Kubert signed my issue of Our Army at War featuring Sgt. Rock #180 c/o the Joe Kubert art school. Took about two weeks.

I will try and post photos aomeday soon. I can also provide addresses too, just send me a pm.

I am looking for a working address for these artists Geoff Johns, Scott Kolins, and Will Conrad if any of you have those. I would be grateful.

Glad to see Kubert sign. I tried him a few years ago with no luck.

Have you tried Steve Rude? I have had success with him a few times TTM.

And don't feel bad about being 35 and collecting comics. I am 46 and have over 60 signed comics in my collection with most being in-person. Let me know if you have any questions.

I was real happy to get Kuberts autograph. He is over 80 years old and still draws amazing artwork. I sent an email request first c/o his art school asking if he would sign my comic and about a moth later they replied saying yes.

I have not tried Steve Rude yet. I should send him an issue of Nexus.

I live in pretty far from any major city that holds any sort of comic book convention where artists or writers would attend, so ttm is they way I get most of mine. I did meet Chris Bachalo many years ago at a comic shop and he was cool enough to sign some issues of Death: the High Cost of Living and do a sketch for me.

Have you had an luck with artists that worked on the Hellboy series? I would like to get an issue signed by Jason Shawn Alexander or Scott Kolins.

I found an address, but I am dubious about it. Would you be willing to share the agent info?

I am also sending out my first foreign ttm attempt. I contacted Will Conrad who is the artist for the new Dark Horse - Kull comic. His work is fantastic and just gorgeous to look at. He lives in Brazil so I used an International Reply Coupon for the return postage. I hope it works.

Artists, inker, writer Kevin Nowlan sign my issue of BPRD in under a week. Address available, just ask me.

As you might have figured out by now, I like Hellboy and BPRD. If you have any sketch cards of them you want to get rid of please let me know.

I am also looking for an address for Michael Avon Oeming. He is a writer and artist. Thanks.
