Wow, im speechless. I joined the forums over at Blow out cards and was posting questions. All i got were people being incredibly rude and condescending and acting like i was kind of a moron. Then they banned me. They didn't give me any reason.

What I dont understand is that they complain about newbies all day coming im and acting like they know it all. I go in there and respectfully ask questions so i can learn and they ban me!

That is unfortunate but this might not be the best place to vent that frustration. The good thing, though, is that we don't care if you're new or not. If you have questions, someone will give you an answer.

Well, from what I can surmise, they do act pretty hostile when they don't know the answers to your questions.

Unless you did something wrong over there as in rip someone off it is of no matter to us. Venting a bit is ok, slamming another site for no particular reason would be something that would probably be frowned upon same as promoting another site (hey come here this site much better than here ). Some folks more patient than others I guess, we don't mind the questions here. Only time it bothers me personally is when folks don't listen to the answers and keep asking the same ones over and over again

No need to apologize to me, man. It's just been my experience that topics like this create a little bit of drama. That said, we all have to have someone to vent to. If this is where you want to do it, there's nothing I can do to stop you.

Your topic was actually pretty tame compared to other venting threads I've read through the years.

As far as you being banned for asking questions, well, as Dwight said, some people are just more patient than others. I think you'll find that there are very few people who will treat you like crap here on TCC, no matter how many questions you ask.

What I meant, it didn't really cross the line in my book, granted I'm not the only Mod here but was how I felt on it (Steve just laughed in his post prior to mine, so don't think he had a problem with it ). Really anywhere that bans you w/o some sort of communication they really can't complain if folks complain about them, but then I have heard folks say "I didn't do anything" but they left out a bunch of things and painted a skewed picture
