Here's the thread for the November 2009 OFFICIAL TCC Baseball Group Box Break.

Here is a list of teams and the members who held them in the July break.
I will make adjustments to this list if teams change, and as people verify with me that they want to be in the August break, and as they pay for their teams.

Those who participated last month have first dibs at renewing their team purchase or choosing another team. So, if you participated in the July break, let me know what you would like to do.

Here are the rules:

Cost: $30--this covers the cost of the boxes and the shipping and supply costs.

The boxes we break will depend on member input and how much money we get. The more members, the more money, the more boxes (or the more higher end the boxes can be).

You can buy as many teams as you want, the first is $30 and each additional team is $25.

How the remaining teams will be distributed will depend on the number of teams left. Once that is determined we can discuss again how those teams will be distributed. Generally we just random off cards from those teams.

Here are some "decision rules," so there is no confusion.

If a card features more than one player from different teams, then there will be a random drawing between the owners of the teams featured on the card. The owner who is chosen by the random drawing will receive the card.

If a card features a player in a different jersey than the team labels on the card, the card will go to the team of the jersey the player is in.

Game used and auto cards from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly awarded amongst all members of the break.

If a card features a player in a college uniform, it will be awarded to the team the player was drafted by.

If a card features a player in a minor league uniform, it will go to the team that the minor league club is an affiliate of.

The rest of the cards that are from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly distributed amongst all participants in the break.

any team not marked verified or paid is up for grabs...If there is a name by the team all that mean is they have first dips on them. On the deadline if they do not get with me the team will go to the next person on the list.

I sent out pm to everyone that was in the last break that has not posted or pmed me yet. As far as looking for new members the more we have the better the break.

I got a box of 09 SPA and it was ok. You get 3 autos this year(2 letterman and one sticker auto), got some of the 09 topps tickets packs and 09 Ballpark. All around looked pretty good. I know the glare on the card might be to much for some . I am up for anything really.

If no one else joins we are looking at 225 to spend (thats counting like picking up 2 teams) not alot we can get with that. So we can roll this over to next month, find out from if diamond cards could do for that amount, or raise the price of the break. Not sure if ppl are over looking this BC it is my Tpoic and they are looking for luke2411. I'll let a few more days go to see if I get any hits on the pms I sent out but its not looking that good.

I got the updates in and Would like to get payments in on Friday...15 of this month will be the deadline. I am going to start sending my Paypal to everyone since I am not sure if I can post it here. the only 2 members that I have not heard from is Bob (which is a hard person to get a hold of) and Prophecy Guy which is don't like getting pm about group breaks. If I don't hear from them by the 15 I guess they are getting dropped. Boxes will be order on the 15 if all payments are in and I can get ahold of Shaun...thats if you get the boxes from him. After the Deadline teams will be locked which means no trading, no new members for this break, and no picking up other team. I am sure luck2411 will agree its a headache when 3 days after the deadline ppl want to join in. If you can't make the payment by the 15 LMK I will work with you the best I can.


TTT is nice to do but just as a reminder it take a good chunk out of what we have to spend and only get 2 hits. It is up to the group I am going to get whatever the group wants. I'll put it do on the list to do since 2 ppl have said the wanted it.

My 2nd post here is where I will lock in the boxes and add pics later. So no one need to ask what are we breaking.
