Minus the Mays, I could easily have this set complete, no doubt. That Mays jersey, though. I haven't seen one, haven't seen a pic online, haven't been able to find anything saying "I had that card", Book value is N/A. To me that says a very limited print run. If one comes up, which I think is highly unlikely, I better get that one, because there might not be another one. I'd say within 5 years one might get listed on Ebay. I really have no idea how rare this card is other than it must be very hard to find.
As far as demand on these goes, it seems pretty weak, as I think it is on most cards that are from 5+ year old sets. They aren't high end cards (although the autos should be). The prices are great really even on the autos if the seller lets the market make the price. But if they aren't just trying to get rid of them, and have a BIN or something, the price is a good deal higher. And in many cases a great deal higher. So then, the burden shifts to the person who wants the card and how much they want to pay rather than bidding against others who are mildly interested in the card. So, the jerseys are pretty much dirt cheap ($10) for everyone except Nolan Ryan, Derek Jeter, Ripken, Ted Williams and maybe a couple more. And the Autos at auction are steals, in my book. But the BIN are mostly high and higher. Hope that answers your questions.

QUOTE(ffman @ Jun 3 2007, 07:21 PM) Nice Anderson! And to go back to your first post in the topic - I remember all the hype around Rick Ankiel....talk about failing to meet expectations. Wow. My Dad lives in St. Louis where he played and I used to spend summers there, so I knew about him. I clearly remember watching him pitch on TV and missing the catcher! He started great, then forgot all about how to control it! It was unbelievable!
