I am all for it. I really liked it, hope everyone else did as well. DA has for $80 and BO for $85.
Zenith is a recent release at around $70-80 (BO) 3 hits per box of 10 packs. Urbanmonk got 8 hits, not sure if that is the norm as I have not seen other breaks.
Luxury Suite is also a recent release and is available $140 (DA) for 8 hits. Saw some of this opened and was not thrilled with base gu #/599, rcs #/899, and small swatches on the regular patch cards, however the rookie auto patches were nice.
10-11 Pinnacle is $51 and SPA is $83 (BO). 10-11 SPGU is $146 (BO).
Right now with 2 slots open we would be around $260-270 budget which would make our product grouping choices more like this:
10-11 Zenith $78 3 hits
10-11 ITG Decades $85 6 hits
09-10 BAP $98 9 hits.
Total $261 18 hits and if all members can add something else to this for $40-45 maybe Donruss or Pinnacle or UD S1?

Paul, will add you to the wait list for Red Wings and Flyers. If either opens up will pm you. This group is an "owned team" and 1 drafted team per owned team format. When it started we had enough members that each wanted to "own" their favorite teams and we have continued to keep that format. The bad thing is that there are usually multiple people who want the same teams. It works, but it also makes it hard when we have two people who want the same teams.

Thanks for the input. I went ahead last night and ordered the Decades and 3 BAP blasters (1-07/08 and 2-08/09s) with the money I had received in paypal. Thought these would give us more packs, hoping for maybe some bonus hits rather than doing the 09-10 BAP since only 2 packs with 2 autos.
Will order the rest once I have more payments in. Hopefully in the next day or so, so that we can break next weekend and begin draft as well.

A. Award the card to the team owner of the player featured.
B. Open the card.
Not sure if you get one in every box, but just thinking that leaving it sealed may not be fair to another team owner who has the inner content team, while on the other hand "tearing" the big card is not fair to the owner of that card, so how do we handle?

That is the dilema. Ruin a card that belongs to someone for an "insert", but the other side what if it is a valuable insert like a rookie auto from National Treasures, shouldn't that go to the owner of that team? You won't know unless you open it, but if you don't open it, then the person who gets the big card could get a big hit?
I am 50/50 on this, that is why I asked for the group's opinions. All votes have to be in by 9:15 pm EST tomorrow.

I'm with Mike, if the guy whose team it belongs to doesn't mind you ripping it, that's their decision. If they would rather rip it themself, that should be their choice...besides, maybe they want to have some fun for themselves too
But I'll definitely try to keep it on in the background, just gonna be tough since I'm commish and will be in charge of updating our 2 out of town drafters with who is drafted on a minute by minute basis lol. Hoping to get some moooojooooo tonight!

Yeah I have a system in place where I'll just post the draft order and picks as they are made in a thread on facebook so it will be easy and quick for for everyone who's out of town to make their picks and keep up with things. I just hope I don't have any internet issues or I'm in trouble tonight
