QUOTE(bwaggy @ Sep 4 2011, 03:20 AM) I think when bobkoning said to increase the break by 10 dollars a team to add 4 more boxes it scared alot of people off including alot of members that take more than one team in my normal break. Thats what I meant Joe..

This is just my 2 cents and I mean no disrespect in any way.
I doubt we'll come to a complete agreement on pricing especially because Inception is purely rookies and while that may have some less than desired hits for 2010 top tier teams, Five Star is essential over 60% of this break's budget from what it seems. Both products are more heavy with rookies but five-star having some nice, rare vet autos (love the inscription autos).
Joe, I mean no disrespect but your comment about crpalmi's break kind of bothered me. You pay $115 for the Rams and everyone else pays the same price for same product. I have the Packers and the Falcons and aside from AJ Hawk, Paul Hornung, and a Matt Ryan patch card there's not much in 2010 Exquisite for me aside from base, but I pay $115 for each team toward the chance of other members getting nice hits and maybe getting something I like. I also paid $170 for the Rams in TK's 2009/2010 exquisite dual case break so getting the Rams at $115 + 4 boxes of Austin Pettis goodness (lol j/k) is beyond a steal. Brian's break is tiered so I expect teams with better/more hits to pay more.
Brian, my suggestion to hopefully get get this break moving would be to possibly price and separate the teams according to product so say the Jags, virtually nothing in Five Star so maybe $10, but lots of Gabbert in Inception so maybe $50 for that slot. It'll allow people to pick up more teams and get better value although it may cause headaches for you.
Just my 2 cents, again I don't mean any disrespect. I wanted to voice my opinions after seeing the comments on this thread.

I am amazed and love the strong support his breaks draw as any other break host could not even compare. The rams are an amazing team for $115 for 2010 but in 2006,2007,2008,2009,2011 i would be hard pressed to see someone super excited to pay that for them. Thats how all of chris's breaks are setup with every team equally priced. On the flip side i do not think its fair to charge someone $150 for say the redskins when the possible chance to hit a card booking over $10 is next to impossible. The only way to hold a successful break for myself is to adjust teams this ensures more product to be busted because after the top 15 teams its almost a given that some teams that are priced very inexpensive will have to be marked down or auctioned.

So, do we retain if its a so called weaker team, and lose our team if its stronger? wouldnt it be easier to have a fixed price each month and then just two tiers of teams?..
