I figure I may as well create a thread since I've sent out a ton of TTM requests.

Yesterday received:

2/2 Barty Smith, a personal favorite, "notmazing" 1970's Packers RB

Bob Trumpy signed a UD legends base card

And the big one for today:
Kenny "The Snake" Stabler signed a 2005 gridiron gear Performers card 451/500! I loved the 1970's Raiders!

I collect the Green Bay Packers, Prince Fielder, and various esoterica of interest at any given moment.

Drew Hill 2/2 with the Oilers, 1/1 with the Falcons
James Lofton 0/2, $15/auto card
Gerry Ellis, Packers RB, 1/1
Paul Coffman, Packers TE, 3/3 "God bless you" on all three. He always was a class act. He was a great TE on a crappy Packers team.

It took about 3 weeks to get "The Snake." My brother sent one to him 3 months ago and hasn't received it back. Go figure!

Today I received 1/1 Bobby Bowden. He signed a PP Legends card. Took 1 week.

So far here are the people who sent cards back unsigned and charge for their signatures:
A.J. Duhe $6 plus $1 S/H
James Lofton $15 plus $2 S/H to "All Star Prographs"
Joe Greene $25 "Money Orders Only" payable to Joe Greene
John David Crow $20 to "12th Man Foundation"
Tom Flores did sign my card for free but indicated he usually asks for a $5 contribution to The Tom Flores Youth Foundation.

Joe Gibbs is "too busy" coaching
Marques Colston kept my card and directed me to www.COLSTON12.com

Generous Signers:
Gale Sayers
Joe Theismann
Jake Delhomme

Just got back from a 5 day trip to "The Valley of the Sun."
Received the following in that time span:
1/1 Ara Parseghian, Press Pass Legends card
1/1 Ozzie Newsome, 1988 Topps card
3/3 Lynn Dickey, 1974 RC with the Oilers, plus 1981 and 1984 with Topps
1/1 Zeke Bratkowski, 1971 Topps
0/2 John Brockington, sent them back unsigned, charges $15

Here's a nice one: Sent out a 1983 Topps "1982 NFL Passing Leaders" card which had already been kindly signed by Joe Theismann. Just got it back - now also signed by Ken Anderson!

I got him a while back just before he started charging. He signed my card, but included a letter saying that in the future he will be charging because he gets so many requests.

Today I was very pleased to get the mail and find:
TTM from Ted Hendricks, HOFer. He signed a Topps Packers card "To John, Ted Hendricks." I'm psyched. As I've said before, I've always been a Raiders fan (of course, secondarily to the Pack). I recall vividly how dominating "The Stork" was. I really miss some of those dynasty teams of the '70's and '80's: Raiders, Steelers, 49ers.

I sent a Fleer "W" event used mat card to Dwayne Johnson. He returned it unsigned.

BUT, he sent me an awesome 8 x 10 glossy photo of himself signed "Rock."

A nice surprise!

Awesome success, hopefully it is real. The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are pretty much the only guys I ever knew and cheered for in wrestling when it was still the WWF.

I collect all cards of Ernie Sims (77/460=16.74%), Brett Favre (321/11536=2.78% :P), and Alando Tucker (14/398 = 3.51%)

Big day yesterday!
Went to the mailbox. Peaked inside.
One of my SASEs was in there with a postmark from Shreveport, LA.
Could it be true? YES! Terry Bradshaw signed my 24 year old 1983 Topps card that I sent out about 2 months ago.
I have heard that he uses a "ghost signer" so I went to e-bay and compared the signature to about 25 "authorized" sigs on auto cards. The auto I have is wholly consistent with all of them!
Also, I sent the card to a P.O. Box in Texas (provided by Meiselman's football list) but my SASE is clearly postmarked from Shreveport, Louisiana, Bradshaw's hometown.

Here's a fun one:
I sent a 2004 Playoff Honors "Fans of the Game" Jets football card to Ray Romano from the "Everybody Loves Raymond" TV show. He must not get many TTMs for trading cards because he signed the toploader! But it looks great nonetheless.
