I pulled a 2012 Panini Totally HRX video card of Andrew Luck Base #/40 Should i hold on to it or selling it or trade it? I have been offered a 2012 Panini Limited RG3 3clr patch on card auto /199 2008 Donruss Elite Gold Die Cut auto rc Chris Johnson #11/24 They are going around 200 or so on ebay, maybe hold of untill they are out of cash in now? Thoughts, comments are greatly appreciated....
Sell, sell, sell. As technology improves we will see more of these things. Additionally, how well have collectors accepted these things? If it is odd sized a lot of collectors hate that so that would lead to less demand. I think several other companies have these cards in the works, but my honest opinion is that these types of things in the past have failed like the Powerdeck mini cd cards, they were cool, but not everyone liked them.
Beyond that the hobby has become what have you done now as far as demand on rookies, so rookies are hottest in the year they are pulled and drop off once the new next best rookie is out, with the exception of someone who is playing spectacular.
I say if you want to speculate on a player keep it, if you want to capitalize on the most $ sell it now. As for RG3 and Johnson, RG3 got injured so unless he gets hot next year I think his stuff will cool off some and Johnson's stuff has softened from the high demand of a few years ago.
