Members of the 1968-1969 Boston Celtics, one of the greatest sports lineups of all time, will be reuniting at Rich Altman’s Boston sports card and memorabilia show in 2011.
The show will take place at the Shriner’s Auditorium in Wilmington April 1-3.
The ‘68-69 Celtics famously won the 1969 NBA Finals by defeating a Los Angeles Lakers lineup that consisted of Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, and other NBA greats.
The show will feature some of the greatest and most accomplished basketball players of all time signing autographs, including 11-time NBA Finals Champion Bill Russell, 13-time All-Star John Havlicek, and Basketball Hall of Famer Sam Jones. Frank Ramsay, another Celtics legend, will also be a the show.
Celtics signed memorabilia is among the most popular in the hobby, with Russell-era items commanding solid money.
