Italy 2nd? laugh.gif That ranking is a joke... Brazil and Argentina should be in lower positions (maybe not Argentina, they are already 6th). But Brazil is playing awful.

Paraguay is currently the leader in the South American qualy for WC 2010 and they are 25.. England is worse than Cameroon and Romania? That ranking leaves me with lots and lots of questions...

These are my comments:

1) Spain- Congrats you deserve it... the only club to not lose/draw in the most competitive region (soccer wise) of the world.
2) Italy- WHAT? World Chumps??? Horrible job at the Euros... they don't even deserve to be in the top 5. 6 or 7 would be more fair not above a team that made it to the final.
3) Germany- Agreed, #3 is perfect. Runners up in a major tournament... it's fine
4) Brazil- Overrated... they lost to VENEZUELA a few weeks ago, Argentina would fit better here.
5) Holand- Solid Ranking after a good performance. A couple big wins against big clubs helped them earn this.

I agree with most of your appreciations. Argentina isn't close to the top 5; we have great players but our coach is plain stupid. We almost lost to Ecuador 2 weeks ago, and we played in Buenos Aires.

Yes, their defense was very weak and couldn´t do anything in the offense against the Germans

Yes, I know that, otherwise Argentina and Brazil wouldn't be that high in the rankings

Although Italy didn't play well during the Euro's, and there are currently teams better than them. They are still World Cup Holders, so I think that count's for something, but maybe not a placement as high as 2nd!

I also feel that France should be 1 or 2 more places furthur south in the list. They had an awful Euro's!! As for England in 15th I thought that was actually a reasonable ranking, since we have such an awful team at this moment in time!! We have great individual players, but not a team!

I think the same about Argentina, we have lots of great players but there's no team chemistry. Each one tries to save himself and do not thsare the ball.

I think with England, they don't really have enough time to practise as a team. With so many of them playing for the top 4 teams in the EPL, and all the commitments they have with the EPL, FA Cup, Champions league etc. They rarely seem to have time to gel properly on the training field!

It happens with all teams, coaches don't train their players, they just choose them and hope they can design a game-style as quickly as possible
