Came across a little money lately from extra stuff I was doing at work and looking for a Jordan RC. and don't want a creased one BGS-4 or something that still sells for a few hundred, but a nice copy.....What's the most you'd pay for say a PSA-8 one if you had the money

Honestly, I'd probably go $500. But I would rather buy one not graded from a reputable seller than one graded...

Here is what I've been offered from 2 different sellers

PSA-8 $580 dlvd.

BGS-7 $485 dlvd.

So these sound reasonable?

I would say those reasonable. You can always try to talk the seller down a little if you want.

I would carefully examine the scans of both. The BGS 7 could be as sharp as the PSA 8 provided the centering is as good.

I agree. I have never seen a BGS 7 that I thought wasn't in great shape. I have seen several PSA 8's that I couldn't believe earned an 8, they should have been given a lower grade....

The BGS-7's centering is graded at a 6. All other subgrades are 8's or 9's..


I also saw a BGS-6 (little lower than I wanted to go) but it has solid subgrades as well except for the centering which is a 5....Looks like I could pick that one up for $400 or less...


What do you think guys??

Looks like the seller in that link used the old "trick" of photographing the card at an angle to make the L/R centering look better than it is. You can find one centered better for that price. Just be patient and keep a check on eBay daily.
