I'm not sure concentrating on football would have prolonged his career. The injury he suffered was during football and it was a very rare, unfortunate injury that basically ended his football career on what appeared to be a routine tackle at the time. He ended up having his hip replaced and made a football comeback literally impossible. It was actually quite remarkable that he was able to recover enough to actually get back to baseball for 2 more years after the injury all things considered. The guy was a freak of nature as far as talent was concerned....

I wasn't saying that football would have prolonged his career. I know he got hurt playing football, he got hurt playing against the Bengals.
I just meant that I wish that he never got hurt and he didn't spilt his time playing baseball and football. He might have been one of the greatest RB's in history if he stayed healthy and played only football. He ran with amazing power and speed.

Thanks Stephen. It is a great set, I've had my ups and downs.. missed out on the Favre/Rodgers a couple of days ago

But i did find a J. Campbell/D. Garrad dual (that will be number 33) fairly cheap, at $25 dlvd. So I'm a third of the way. And I do believe I promised to post a pic of the first third in one big pic
