Wow, I was shocked to see this one. I was sure that he was going to stay in St. Louis. $250-$260 million over 10 years!

Seriously!!! What an insane amount, that is just barely less than some franchises spend on an entire roster. I just don't get it, these teams all whine about not having enough money then they make contracts like that. Just insane!

Why this makes me sick...

Pujols said he was going to sign with a team according to a sign God would give him. I guess that was Anahiem. The only "sign" Pujols saw was the big $ sign. Please, Albert, don't hide behind God when making a "business" decision.

St Louis has been hating on their former hero for two days.

He is still a great ball player where ever he calls home.

If somebody put $50 million more dollars in front of you , you have to ask yourself what you would do. Id take the money!

I feel he will get a bigger national spotlight in LA, Movie roles, Rides named after him in Disneyland etc etc.

Good for Albert! May the rest of his career be as stellar as the first 11 years!
