I had the card pictured in my buckett and it did have the corner wear, but it could be seen in the picture and she never asked me if there was any damage to the card. As far as any other damage, it must have happened after it left my house. I dont see anything other than the slight corner wear.

Posted by: dusty1218 Oct 16 2009, 03:35 PM

actually, here is the scan of the brady...I had it on my lap top...The corner wear is visible in the scan. I was not asked by her about condition and it is clearly shown in the scan. As far as a scratch in the card, well I dont see it nor was there one when sent.

On the top left of the pic I got it has a line in the top left! which is bothering me!

Posted by: northicehero99 Oct 16 2009, 05:10 PM

In looking at the picture in your bucket Dustin it appears that the area in question with the scratch is not shown in your scan. It appears that your scan is showing less of the top of the card based on the distance between the letters and the edge in both scans provided by each member.

How do both members wish to proceed regarding this card? Is the card going to be returned, partial refund, etc. Please work together either in this topic or via pm to come up with a solution that works best for both parties, then please post that solution here. Thanks.

The two of you need to try and work something out as it is both of your decisions not ours. So try and figuire out what is fair on this between the two of you, or both return their end and we can fail transaction.

dusty 1218 please reply me emails!

Posted by: dusty1218 Oct 17 2009, 08:19 PM

The card I sent only had corner wear and that is it. I am not refunding the full amount for this transaction if this card was damaged by her once it came. I am not about to lose $200+ on this card for her own damage. I offered to give her $40 back and she keep all the cards and she doesnt want to do that. I told her I would give her $200 back once I receive the Brady back and verify that the card is still resellable. If the card is deemed not sellable then it will be mailed back and we will have to figure something out. I am not taking the full hit on this payment as that card had no lines of any kind and I will not take a damaged card back that did not have that kind of damage when I sent it. I have never had a problem on here for card condition and never ever mis represent a card. I have never had a problem and will not start now, but I will not take a monetary loss when it is not my fault, that is for certain.

I'm not taking a loss of $20 either! I bought the card and got it in bad conditon! It's not my fault! The only resin I took it out of it's case was because I saw the damage! Also my family shares a paypal so I'm a man!

This is very simple. The card was not sent damaged with any sort of lines of any kind. I check all my cards before buying and have never had a problem in the past. If there is or was anything wrong other than normal corner wear or minor chipping it would have been stated prior to selling the card. I have never had a problem and my scan shows the normal wear a card gets and is clearly visible. Only a slight portion of the top part of the card is not shown in the scan. I will not take a $240 loss on this card plain and simple. I have offered several solutions and he continues to say he wants a full refund which I will not do if the damage to the card is worse than when it was sent (minor corner wear and chipping on edges). I am continually pming him and he continues to post in this thread, which is why I am doing the same. A solution is trying to be reached now, but again I restate that I will not lose $240 over this transaction, so im not sure how this is to be worked out.

Were working it out!

file a claim thru paypal!

Really Dusty if you want to be a bigtime card dealer you have to honor returns!

Your scan from your laptop is not the whole card or so it appears by the space between the cards edge and the letters! I can only hope you didnt crop this to Not display the damage!

Sure file a claim through paypal and I will fight it the entire way if the card is not returned in the same condition it left in. The scan was not cropped at all. Look at all my scans and you will see the exact same thing. I dont appreciate the tone you are taking with me towards this transaction as I am doing everything I can to work it out, but if the damaged happend once they received it, I am not sure what I am supposed to do. You would take a $240 hit?? I dont know many people that would take on the full amount when it wasnt their fault...That is why I said to send me the card back and once I get it and deem it to be sellable, I will then refund the money. There isnt much else I can do here. I even offered to refund $40 of the total and he could keep all the cards. Whatever you think is your opinion Steve, but it was not warranted. Thanks for your help tho!

im taking the 40

We do appreciate you gentlemen
working this out.

While no one cares to see a sales/trade
agreement wind up in a dispute, it is
nonetheless refreshing to see an adult,
reasoned and fair reconciliation.

Thank you both.

Please update the agreement with the details
of the resolution and both members accession.
