QUOTE(Kiansdad @ Mar 26 2008, 11:41 AM) LOL, I will try this week. Been busy on my "Spring Break" Closed up shop this week to give my employees a much needed paid break. But, here I am, in my office catching up on paperwork while I'm supposed to be out enjoying myself. Oh well. I'll get the Mannings scanned. Lots of cards there. Pretty complete player collection actually. There's one Manning that I cherish deeply, as the 06 Topps Chrome Superfractor 1/1 surfaced on ebay. Well, the seller had a reserve. I set a high snipe on it, and then received a PM a day later asking if I was going after that card, with a link to it. My buddy had bid $100 on it, meeting the reserve. I told him to retract his bid, he said, nah, think of it as an early Christmas gift. Well, he won the card, sent it to me, and about a month or so later he passed away. One of the coolest guys I've ever known on a trading site. What sucks is, we chatted on the phone and he was going to drive up and crash my wedding. He died a week before my wedding. So sad. Getting goosebumps just typing this. He did attend my wedding however...I printed out a picture of him, put him in my wallet so he could be there. Heck, I even took him to the Bahamas with me.

Great, great story. I actually don't know anybody else that collects cards. Lots of people say they did back in the 90s, but nobody still does.
