I don't know if I ever had the Bird but I had thousands of these cards, they are called sportscasters. Back in the mid to late 70's never figured out what happened to them all but I wish I had them back.

I remember those, I had a whole box of them too (maybe a couple hundred) but can't remember Bird specifically. They were tossed long ago as I never considered them cards. There's one I'd like to have back!

a real life friend of mine who is not computer savvy at all, has a complete set of these!! Ive tried in vain for a couple years now to get him into the online community as card shops in a town such as ours are becoming less and less of an option and he is always looking to deal.
I cant remember the total story on these but they were a mail away program over a three year period. If anyone is interested his Bird, Magic, and Gretzky are still like the day they were printed (he mailed away for all of his set first hand). PM me and I can help get someone in touch with him.
