I believe I still have the Upper Deck Bust of Ted Williams from UD Portraits. Would sell for $35 delivered (will cost me a bit to ship). LMK if interested and I'll make sure I have it. Thanks.
Ira
As one of my fellow collector''s says, "I will not trade at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted. For whatever else you may think of Beckett and its effect on the trading card industry, I believe that it is the only objective standard available. If our cards are of the same Beckett BV, I will not trade in your favor simply because you think your card is "under rated", or "sells well on eBay."
This explains why I don''t trade at eBay prices - if I have a $20 card that sells for $30 on ebay, and you have an $80 card that sells for $20, and you only trade your cards at ebay prices, does that mean you owe me more in trade?? Or does it only pertain to your card if higher on ebay?
I can never understand why people look for cards on eBay and expect to pay that much for cards on other sites. If the card you wants is selling for $20 on eBay, and people are asking $30 for it on a site, then buy it off of eBay. If the card you were looking for was selling on eBay for $60, and someone on one of the sites was asking only $40 for it, would you tell him you'd pay $60 since that's what it was selling for on eBay??? I doubt it VERY highly!!!

QUOTE(Tarasadie17 @ Jan 23 2008, 11:46 AM) Wow, I can't figure out what I did with the others.. I found another Mark Teixeira, but I was sure I had others... I busted over a case of this stuff.... well anyway, if still interested in the Boggs and Baker shortprints I will sell them both for $47.50 delivered... the BV on Boggs is $60, Baker $25.... Right now I cant afford it. Went a little nuts on Ebay the last few days chasing a few. I will keep you in mind though. David
