the mailman wouldnt send the package out because it was above 13 ounces. it wasnt as i weighed it, but ill take it to the psot office tomorrow.

Cards received yesterday. I will go ahead and accept them, but they weren't exactly what I was expecting. First of all, in our PM's negotiating the deal, we had discussed some of the cards being Marlins cards. I think you read "Marlins" as "Mariners" because I received quite a few Mariners cards and not one Marlins card. I understand that this was probably just a simple error.

Secondly, the cards were shipped in a bubble mailer, but only a couple were in penny sleeves. The rest seemed to have been stacked, with a hard protector on bottom, and a hard protector on top, with the protectors taped to one another, sandwiching the cards in between.

Apparently the tape broke during shipping and the cards were laying scattered out inside of the bubble mailer with no protection. As a result, approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the cards have corner damage or damage from the broken scotch tape getting stuck to the front of the cards.

Hopefully this can be a learning experience for us both.
