Ok, here's your chance... If you were able to add, remove or change anything on TradingCardCentral.com, what would it be?

Mm.. Where do I start?
First of all, I would try to make some kind of agreement with BlowOut and DACW in order to get some additional discount for TCC members. They have some of the best prices in the market, and combined, they have a great number of products.

I have to say I would try to have more equality in terms of stickied threads. I'd also have to say that I would hold a monthly team box break, each sport alternating. So baseball one month, then football the next, then hockey the next, then basketball and so on. I think if there was just one run by mods, then it would be a lot better.

I'd try to publicize chat more. I'd suspend people who couldn't get trades done regularly, at their own fault.

Can't really think of anything else.

If I was in charge, I would add an arcade, it could be a fun little place for members to just enjoy some games. I would also add a trade night chat, instead of just chat night. I would also add a TradingCardCentral.Com Marketplace, kind of like Beckett's marketplace.

I would try to find a way that would keep transaction topics from being posted which involve members on restrictions.

For example, Member A tries to create a transaction with Member B, who is on a Current Transactions Only restriction. Once Member A clicks the 'Create Transaction' button, a screen pops up telling him the topic cannot be created due to Member B's restriction.

By the way, members can provide input for about one week. Then, we'll take all of the ideas and narrow them down to a list of ten. Those ten will then be posted as choices in a poll and we'll vote on the ideas for another 1-2 weeks. The ideas that get the most votes will be the ones that we attempt to implement first.

Oh Dan, then it would be really difficult to leave TCC!

I guess that it's difficult to add things to the site, maybe some things should be improved. For example, as someone said before, old pinned threads should be unpinned. When they are 1 month old and haven't had a post in 2 weeks, they should be removed.

Very good suggestion!!! That would also really motivate those members with restrictions to finalize their current deals

one of my two suggestions would be to put more emphasis on the action taken against the members with restrictions, keeping them from freely creating trade topics like the rest of us and initiating trade agreements.

second would also be about a trade chat night. but it would be like the team box breaks that someone else suggested, in that the trade chat nights would be for one sport one week and another sport the next week in a rotation. so that on specific nights the members know who to expect, that everyone who shows up would only be trading baseball, or football...ect, ect on every given week.

I definetly like the 'current transactions only' idea if we had a popup that wouldn't allow members to trade with them or that the people on "cto" wouldn't be able to create topics, create trades, or be of much use on the site until they finished their end of the deals that were still outstanding.

Also, I would have a Seal of Disapproval, to warn members about bad people on ebay, other sites, ect...

If I was in charge I would

1. Move up chat night to 8:00 instead of 9:00 you might get more people that way. I also like the trade night Idea, maybe have a different night for a different sport?
2. Make "Bump" and "TTT" words that you can't use on the boards.
3. Have topic starters have to option of closing topics.
4. Create a TCC shop were you can buy T Shirts, Coffe Mugs and what not with the TCC logo on.

Personally, I'd like to see an automatic image resizer for both posts and signatures. Perhaps even a maximum signature size.

And, for members who discuss trades through PM, have all restrictions listed under the person's avatar as seen in PMs.
