Outline · [ Standard ] · Linear+ 08 SP Authentic FB Valentine's Day break, A little good, a little bad.

So my girlfriend treated me to a box of 08 SP Authentic yesterday and we broke it together. She pulled everything of note, oddly enough.

The first hit was the biggie, and it cracks me up that she's so low-key when she tells me what she has.

Her: "Oh, it's a dual autograph..."

Silence.

Me: "Cool! So... who is it?"

Her: "...Looks like... Darren McFadden."

Me: "Really?"

Silence.

Her: "...yeah. Oh, and LaDainian Tomlinson, too."

Me: "What!?"

I'll get a scan up, but it is indeed a "Sign of the Times" dual auto, #/20.

She also pulled a Darius Reynaud auto #/1199 or something along those lines. Those two came within like... the first 6 packs.

And then we proceeded to pull literally nothing else. Shorted my mem/auto in 2 of the past 3 boxes (including one of the group break boxes).

So, the dual auto was fantastic! It's tough to not feel a bit cheated when you're shorted the box hit though. I'll see if I can at the very least use this to strengthen my case against UD and help out the group break, too.
