Beat the odds with this one. Just a Manufactured patch but crazy odds as that comes out to 1:453 boxes or something.

Exactly what I was thinking. I liked the quad GU cause you knew it was something decent when you hit one. The autos were so-so. These, I am not sure, not big on manufactured patches, so seems "watered" down. Still this one is a nice hit. It is the lower more common ones that will not be worth pulling unless you hit your team.

Well the Octopus (what is it Albert or something) went for like $225 so was thinking less than that one as them Red Wings fans nutty And only one of those listed went at like $175 I think. So yeah bit of a surprise when I checked my listings.

A side note northicehero99...you see the prices on those animal kingdom manufactured patches high numbers...I pulled a Manatee and was offered a c-note for it...

I understand it is "rare", but manufactured "rare" vs say a piece of Lester Patrick game used sweater, etc. To me, I would not spend that kind of money on something like that. I would rather spend that on a bunch of boxes in the hopes that I pull something like that to sell, and then store it away in my boxes, until the value drops to nothing.

Hey, I am happy for you Dwight, you hit the "lottery" per say with it. I just agree with what you said, if I am dropping $300 want it to be a special card that will retain value as opposed to a manufactured sp patch. But to each his own, that person is enjoying the hobby the way they want to and without them you wouldn't have hit that price, so it makes the world go around.

Oh I certainly agree with you on the preference of the kind of hit with no doubt.......give me a Ken Dryden jersey or stick any day......but there are some people that actually put these sets together..(I am not one of them to much money...lol)Ive seen what some of those singles go for....on the other hand I am super glad for you Dwight in getting the big win for any collector it is cool at times to actually >>>SCORE A Game winner!
