Base set - 3 of 5 - I am not as thrilled with the base set design as in previous years, but still it is chrome. Gonna be tough to build the set with only 12 rookies in a box, and 110 in the set, plan on spending some time and money completing this one. Even the base set will take a few boxes.
Inserts - 2 of 5 - Like last year way too many. Why do I need parallel refractors, Chicle, and Cheerleaders? I love the refractors, and the Chicle are nice but I would rather have more rcs or refractors than some parallel sets. The cheerleaders while different really to me do not fit a football product. These extra inserts (Chicle, cheerleaders) could have been additional rookies, considering that is what most people are buying the product for anyways. Again with 110 rookies you need to have more in the box than 12.
Rookies - 2 of 5 - I got killed on this box, nothing really great, but that is the risk you take. Would have been nice to get one of the top rcs in this. Maybe one of these guys is better than I am thinking, all I can do is hope.
Auto - 3 of 5 - Not bad but not great at the box price. Nice looking card, but I got a lower numbered one of him out of Bowman Draft and that box was a lot cheaper and had two autos in it.
Quality control - 4 of 5 - No noted issues.
Overall - 2 of 5 - There are probably some killer boxes of this out there but this was just a bad break. Not hating, just feeling for less money I could have gotten some nicer autos out of Bowman Draft. That being said the base cards are nice and of course who does not like refractors???
