Bob would you mind if I posted some NPN info from various products?

That would be fine. I went ahead and posted the next Fleer one right now based on a format that would probably work best. By the way, I updated the NPN Offers page last night to include all of the non-expired Fleer ones and will post all of them individually here tonight.

Any that you have for other manufacturers would be great!

How have you done with your NPN entries?

Here is what I have experienced:

At first Topps was very generous and I received some really cool game used, but now that they limit entries to one, I usually end up with parallels or inserts, no GU or autos.

Fleer seems to be heading the same direction. I get mostly inserts on the ones I send in, very rarely GU or autos.

I was just wondering how you have done. I guess overall getting an insert card for $0.37 in postage is not too bad, when you consider you would have had to pay $2-5 for the pack it came from. In a way, I am glad I am not getting great cards, in the hope that this means they are in the packs for everyone buying to have a chance at. Still it would be nice to see something rare or unusual through the NPN. Thanks.

I've only actually mailed in a few so far, but have not gotten anything in return for them. mad.gif

What's your general experience with how often your entries turn into cards?

I think it really depends on the product, But...

Imho, Topps ranks at the top for Npn returns. With Donruss/Playoff a close second(not the return % of Topps, but better quality).

Fleer has went South from their early unlimited Npn's. Not that this is bad, but after setting the bar so high..it's just kinda disappointing. Reason I say that, is I used to guage my Fleer purchases on their Npn's IE: Product design. Many Npn requests are loosers(go figure with most having at least 1 insert per pack) Although they will suprise with a nice return.. I only send in for sets I'm going after.

UpperDeck- It's rare, Their unlimited no expiration is kind of weird as I read several posts stating "Within 2-3 weeks of a product release is when they mail Npn's"

For .37 I'll take a chance with a High-end product. Perhaps this will level the playing field by discouraging people from using 3-4 addy's wink.gif

I agree here. Topps it seems like I always get something, but sometimes it is hardly worth the effort. On Bazooka Baseball and Basketball all I received was a comic insert from each. On Pristine Baseball I received a numbered RC. In prior years when the limit was 8 I received some nice cards: from 01/02 Reserve hky: Belfour Nameplate patch card, Daytsuk graded RC, Nolan Logo patch card. In Football I received a Jimmy Smith auto and some other inserts. Recently, I think my best card was the Pristine RC, all of the football redemptions have been insert cards this year.

Fleer, I would say I average between 1-2 returned out of 5 entries, and again everything recently has been basic inserts. Lebron James and Yoa Ming basic inserts on the last Basketball ones I received. I also got two Fleer Genuine football redemptions this week, a Bronco RC #599 (not Bell) and a parallel card. For the $1.85 it was probably not worth it, but who knows what you will get. I guess it beats wasting the $ on the lottery, at least the odds are better you will get something.

Donruss, Hit or miss. Sometimes you get things sometimes nothing. Elite football I received a shortprinted parallel RC #/50 of a defensive lineman. Other than this, I have not received much from Donruss this year.

Do you know of any Nascar NPN's...I emailed presspass and haven't got a response yet.

Posted by: northicehero99 Apr 16 2005, 08:11 PM

They have them for the racing products, but I have never sent for any. I noticed one on the last pack I picked up but it was expired. I think the product was called "Wheels"? The way I get some of my NPNs (for Pristine or high priced products) is by looking at the product in Kmart/Walmart/Target and reading the packs and writing them down. I hope this helps somewhat.

the only one i found as of now is press pass eclipse:

hand print your name and complete address, including your email address on a 3x5 card and mail to:
NPN 2005 Press Pass Eclipse, 9115 Harris Corners Parkway, Ste 200, Charlotte, NC 28269. Only one card per envelope mailed separately, post marked by June 1st 2005 and received by June 8th 2005. No metered mail. LIMIT ONE REQUEST PER HOUSEHOLD FOR 2005 PRESS PASS ECLIPSE.

I was hoping they didn't include that one per household......all the other sports have a limit of 5.

I sent in on this, I will let you know if I get anything. Is Gordon the only racing you collect? I have a few single packs of racing I will probably put in a box for storage. If you are interested let me know and I will pull them out and let you know what is in them. I do not have a Racing guide so I have no idea what is in them or what they are worth. I just purchased a few packs at random.
