If people REALLY think Obama does not have a valid birth certificate:

1. He/she should be outraged not at Obama, but at our presidential vetting system. Doesn't it seem logical that our government requires a valid proof of citizenship for ANY presidential candidate - and especially for the President before he is sworn in? So, unless our government is much dumber than I think it is, President Obama must have shown valid proof (a true birth certificate).

2. If Obama must provide his records, I would like to see the long-form birth certificate and all academic records of:

- Donald Trump
- George Bush and every past president

Trump claims to have shown his certificate a week or two ago, but it wasn't the correct one (the long-form) that everyone wants Obama to show.

I'm actually more concerned about the information that the school he went to in Indonesia requires students from other countries to renounce their citizenship to the other country. If this is how it was when he attended that school, it means he gave up his birthright and is at best a naturalized citizen. Once again, I stress IF this is the case.

The funny thing that everyone seems to forget is this whole debate was started by the Democrats....namely the Clintons...not the Republicans. Although I think if there was this much speculation and doubt, but I had nothing to hide, I'd just show the darn thing. Another big question is what do the Clintons know and how, I doubt they would have said anything without any shred of proof. Is it just a coincidence that Hillary and Bill have received high-ranking government poistions after they put up such a bitter fight??? Is it payment for keeping quiet?

Even O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Beck, and Arizona Republican Jan Brewer don't support this birther crud.

Brewer vetoed a "birther" law that tried to pass in Arizona. Beck called out Trump for his antics - especially when he demanded Obama's long-form certificate and followed to release his own "certificate" that was a lesser form of what Obama provided!

You know, I was thinking the other day that if Arnold Schwarzenegger suddenly got a lot of backing and popular appeal amongst voters, showing him to be favored in an election... The Right would likely introduce legislation to allow him to run as quick as they could.

Why does he have to but none of the other presidents/presidential candidates? Is it because of the fact that he is suspected of POSSIBLY being Muslim? (Directed to everyone, not specifically at Steve)

As mentioned earlier, even Trump didn't show the birth certificate that he is demanding that Obama show. I personally think that this "birther" movement has some low-key racism behind it. I'm not saying that everyone behind the birther movement is a racist but I do think that there is some racism behind it.

Even if he showed up on your doorstep himself with the long form birth certificate (which even you don't have yourself, you've got the same short form (as all of us do who have out certificates) like his that we've already seen on countless news outlets that has an official seal, signature, and so on)... You still wouldn't believe it.
