Does anyone use Zistle? I've always used Open Checklist in the past, but I know the operators are trying to lay low since Beckett went on their tirade against Zistle. I started using it so I could keep track of my 2016 cards. Recently, I've made some huge trades on there that wouldn't have happened anywhere else (except maybe Trading Card Databae). Zistle's platform is by far the best I've seen. I admit that I'm a bit nervous since they sold to Beckett. Not trying to pull anyone away from the TCC, but rather wondering if anyone already uses Zistle and how we might use it to facilitate trades on both sites. I'm moving in a week so I probably won't be getting anything done between now and then, but let me know and we can maybe try something in a couple weeks. Maybe by then, the future of Zistle will be known.

It's similar to Beckett Organize but better, free, and completely member driven. I think it's what Bob had intended for Open Checklist, but it's on a much higher level. I still use OC for older sets. I'm holding off on migrating everything until I see what's going to happen with the site.

I've been using Zistle for several years mostly just for cataloging my collection. I have only made 5 trades on there. I don't do as many trades as I once did overall. NOw days I mostly do bulk team trades. The trading system is OK, but not great. I loved that it was free and that members could add cards to the database and add images where images of the cards were missing (or had the COMC placeholder image for the card)

IN hindsight the troubles for the site began with last year's lawsuit from Beckett claiming that Zistle violated copyright infringement by using Beckett's checklists. This didn't seem to affect the website much at first. It wasn't until earlier this year that updates from the owners and requests to correct errors went unanswered and not done, when in the past they were fairly good with at least letting people know they were aware of the problems and were working on them or that they were in the queue for problems to be fixed. Then about 6 months ago there was absolutely nothing from them. About a week or two before Beckett announced the purchase the site had gone down for a few days because the certificate had expired. Fortunately the site was brought up and someone noticed there was new ownership, before the official notice from Beckett.

Kirk,

Have you used Trading Card Database at all? I'm looking for alternatives if Beckett sends Zistle to the compost heap. Although the general consensus seems to be that TCDB will be next.

Yes I use that also. Been using it more than Zistle in the last 6 months or so. Still need to sync my collections more between the two. I have made some trades through TCDB.
