I am just wondering if anyone has gone to their NFL teams training camp, if open to the public. I was wondering how they are set up. I have been going to Browns camp for the past three years and it is definately a steal for any sports fan.

For cleveland, admission is free and you walk around the facility with the players within an arms reach of you. Also many of them stay after and sign autographs. Just wondering how Cleveland compares to other teams in the NFL.

Heres some of the autos Ive gotten this year....

Mini helmet: Alex Mack ( Rookie C 1st Rd), James Davis (Rookie RB), Jordan Norwood (Rookie WR), Erik Wright (CB).

Browns Hat: Brady Quinn & Derek Anderson

Browns Hat: Brady Quinn & Joe Thomas

Browns Hat: Phil Dawson & Brady Quinn

Everything is NFS/T just in case you were wondering. Look forward to hearing some of you stories

Looking for Red Grange, Vince Lombardi Cuts HOF gu/autos. all cleveland and osu players.

I've never been to a training camp but I know of some who have.

monsta (who is missed here) did go regularly; he was kind enough to get me a Vince Young autographed mini-helmet, but I think VY only did one autograph per person.

Some players will autograph freely while others won't. I remember mvpujols#5 saying that LenDale White walked away laughing when he asked for an autograph.

I used to be a regular at the Bills training camp when i was in New york, but they just moved it in the past few years to Rochester and I haven't been there at all. I miss it though because I met everyone. At the bills camp every day they have a schedule during there mini camp where six bills players sign every day. Until the roster is complete. Everyday they have a new group of six and everyone on the team must sign since Ralph Wilson Jr. is big on his fan base. After the practice as well you can go to the tents to get the six players autos or go to the fence to call the players, some sign and some don't. You could also wait by the players parking lot and get autos from the players as well. I have gotten every bill from the years of 92 to 2003. I have every bill that was on the roster. Even the guys that were cut after a few days. So it is worth it. I would look at the bills website and find who was signing and if someone like Jim Kelly, Reed, or Bruce was signing I would go that day to get autos, and wait in the line. You can get 2 items signed and the player will sign for everyone. It is worth it, so go to a bills practice.

GO BILLS

Also at the practice if you don't have something to get signed of the player, the six signing will have a 5x7 picture at their tent that you can get for free for them to sign. It is an awesome experience.

I will never forget the day that I tried to get London Fletchers Autograph and he snubbed me. The next day I told Ralph Wilson Jr, that he did that too me, and he apologized. He went to the practice, pulled London Fletcher and told him to sign an autograph for me. London Fletcher was a great guy when Ralph pulled him aside but when he was alone he was a prick, he told me what are you going to do sell this card on Ebay. I responded back for what a quarter. I would rather burn it, and i ripped it up in his face.

HAHAHAHA Thats hilarious. At browns camp they usually only sign one item per person but its open. I just go a bunch of different days. For the kids they do have a tent where thet kids (12 and under) get a voucher to get their autos. Usually pretty decent players

Nice! I think open camp really gets the fans connected to the organization and players on a personal level. I dont know why you wouldnt open it, if theres any that arent idk. Also I think the players, having large egos, would like to show off their skills to people other than the coaching staff. Just my opinion

I live in Charlotte but the Panthers have training camp like a 1 and a half away so i dont go to camp....but they have a fan fest thing where they do one day of camp here. I just got back from that but there are so many people getting autos that it wasn't worth trying. Its at the stadium and players go up to the fans in the seats after practice and sign stuff. Deangelo Williams was right in front of me but I couldn't get him...too many people :/......o well

yeah, i had trouble getting alot of Giants. Mainly because of the kids that were there. I mean i understand kids should get the autographs first. But man are they annoying to deal with. The kid next to me had no clue which player was which and he was about 12 or 13. I would tell him one and he would start screaming right in my ear, then tell the guy he was his favorite player. I mean i understand he is younger, but at least know the guys name before you ask a person. Especially if it is a big one like Tuck or Tyree

Every year I go to the Titans training camp..............

They only allow the fans to walk around the outside of the practice facility and that is it. The don't allow access to the facility, parking lots (we have to park across the street in a warehouse parking lot), or the players - unless they are obligated to sign or volunteer to sign.

They do have a VIP area that fans can "win" access to but those passes are few and far between. The Titans provide bleachers and a small area where fans can congregate to view the practice.

The Titans practice everyday and usually twice a day and the crowds are usually small.

I've been to the Browns training camp and the Redskins training camp and they allow more access to the players but the crowds are definitely larger...........so you get one but lose the other.

My house is about 3 minutes from bears camp so Im there alot...havent got out yet this year cuz im busy but i see players in public all the time...the other night I was comin home from a buddies and at a red light none other than Brian Urlacher pulls up next to me...a kid i went to school with before he graduated got into it with Orton a few years ago and I ALWAYS see players at resteraunts Urlacher goes to this little Mexican place and one night the only people there were me, my friends, urlacher, his brother, a few other players, tom thayer and richard dent...another time I was behind rex grossman in teh BK drive thru and my friend got a MRI in a room next to hester...I could go on and on

Also saw the Mort goes to camp bus the other day-

And yes to answer your question its open to the public and about 80 % of the guys sign everyday the only one that never does is urlacher...he picks two days out of camp and those two days signs for EVERY SINGLE PERSON there...I have been lucky to get him in public a few times

Nice! I forgot that I visited Packers camp when we were up there. I really like how they ride the bikes over from lambaue to the practice facilty while the kids carry their equitpment, very cool. I also got A.J. on a buckeye hat. It was a pretty good day

Titans Training Camp -

Admission free smile.gif - Cokes and Water - $3 - Game Worn Pants - $25 Game Worn Jerseys - $50 - Practice Worn Jerseys - $25 I believe

The Titans have 3 fields all side by side that they use. The Defense usually uses the middle field while the offense uses the last field during drills. They do occasionally mix it up.

Each day a number of players are scheduled to sign for the fans. Usually about 5. Sometimes others come over and sign. VY, CJ, Hawk, and a few others sign multiple times during camp.

They don't do many open morning practices anymore but that is always the best time to go.

Last year I ended up going every day to get everyone to sign a team ball. Only Jevon Kearse & Keith Bulluck didn't sign it. Still hoping to get them this year.
