If you pitched them go find them. Topps hasn't given the details yet but news is something soon, retail wrappers not included.

More when I hear of it. Just wanted to get the word out before the trash man ran, lol.

That is great but how many will you need? Usually it is like 100 or something that most people just don't open that much. Will have to wait and see I guess.

Is there any more news on what the program actually is?

Posted by: Krusin Nov 8 2010, 12:50 PM

Rumor has it that the USA Buyback auto's & the Bryce Harper auto's that seem to be missing as a part of the packout may be included. With Topps chrome they made a small set & a few SP's that were handed out as thier wrapper redemption.

Some of the other boards are buzzing about the program, lots of negative stuff because of the after release announcement of the program. I brought it up as a possibility a week before release but the thread got burried quickly, this was on FCB.

What ever it is I'm cool with it, a chance at auto's or SP's would be a plus.

I'll post details as soon as they are available.

not to steal buds thunder but:

Let the dumpster diving (for wrappers) commence.

Topps announced on Monday a wrapper redemption program for buyers of 2010 Bowman Chrome as well as admitted that one set of high-demand buyback autograph cards slated for the product — one that includes Bryce Harper — didn’t make pack-out and will be part of the hobby-only redemption program.

For every 18 wrappers (hobby-only) that collectors send in, they will receive a five-card pack of black-bordered 2010 Bowman cards. The set will include all 110 prospects from 2010 Bowman will be included in the redemption as well as a 37-card USA Baseball black-bordered Chrome autograph set where all cards will be limited to just 25 copies. Those cards will feature the 2010 Collegiate National Team and the 2010 18U National Team.

Also part of the packs will be five autographed Chrome Rookies & Prospects autographs, each limited to 100. The players will include Buster Posey, Mike Stanton, Mike Moustakas, Miguel Sano and Dustin Ackley.

The USA buybacks — which include the highly touted Harper’s first certified Topps autograph released to the public — were not included in Bowman Chrome packs because of a production error, according to Topps, so they will be part of this program.

The deadline for wrappers to be sent to Topps is March 31, 2011, and all should be sent to:

Topps ATTN: Bowman Chrome Promotion
PO BOX 2230
Duryea, PA 18642
