Thanks to everyone who participated. I will get the thread for next months break up soon. I have some different thoughts I will just share with everyone and get your thoughts. I hope everyone was happy with this break!! Some REALLY nice cards came out. Those hockey patches were INSANE!!! Congrats

LOL....I know it! I will do my best. I am working on next months product list and there are some possible Pujols and Kobe pulls in those too!! So we shall see.

Ok guys before I put up a thread for next months break here are a few ideas I would like to run by people.

First, we need to re-name the break. Chris let me use the "boxbreakers" name, and I greatly appreciate it, but it's still his name. So if anyone can think of a clever group name for us to break under then that would be great. Give me any thoughts.

Second, I am thinking of shrinking the break to 30 slots at $100 a slot. That would still allow us to have about 4 boxes per sport. The issue is every month we seem to have around 30 to 35 people in the break that are always there, and by the end others usually end up needing to fill extra slots that they normally wouldn't fill. For instance I had 4 slots this month when I would normally only take 1 to 2 at the most. If we did go to 30 slots @ $100 a slot then every slot would have 4 teams instead of 3. We would draft 1 extra time. We could always keep it at $75 a slot and have 30 slots, but the product would have to drop at least 1 box per sport. Just let me know everyone's thoughts on this idea.

Travis, I completely understand your concern about the break not being able to fill and causing you to have to take more slots than you are comfortable with normally taking because you don't want to be the bad guy and shrink the product lineup. I too have been pushing it with taking 4 slots regularly, and my budget and bills are telling me I am probably going to have to scale back in the near future.

It's a tough choice....I'm not thrilled with the idea of slots going up $25 each nor am I thrilled with the idea of the product lineup shrinking. The fewer boxes opened per sport, the much more hit-or-miss the break becomes. I know I won't be able to continue with 4 slots if we go to $100 a slot and the break continues to be monthly.

One idea I was thinking about running by you is possibly making the break bi-monthly (every other month). I know if we did that, I could probably add a slot or two because it would be easier to budget for. However, that is just my opinion and you and others in the group may very well wish to keep it monthly. It is a unique, fun break and I really enjoy the whole process of the multiple sports and the draft, so I hope to break continues to succeed and I am able to participate, but I agree that some re-structuring is probably necessary to make it work best for you and for the participants.

I'm sure I'll be participating and can almost guarantee I'll stick with at least the Lakers and Rams, but I'll need to know the new structure before I can confirm whether I am keeping my other two slots or possibly adding slots, depending on the structure you go with.

Joe I completely agree with everything you said. I want to see the break succeed, because I thoroughly enjoy every bit of the process, but here needs to be some changes. Having the break bi-monthly could be an option. I had not thought of that. I would like to see what other members on here think. I have already heard from Jmash24 and he will not be in next months break, and if I drop 2 spots and you drop 2 spots that takes us down to 33 slots filled if everyone else took all of their slots. I will go with what the majority wants here! I have no issues with that at all! Thank you again Joe for all the help!

Every other month is an option although I don't know if I would take more slots than I already have.
