QUOTE(Eliptic @ Apr 21 2010, 11:41 AM) Pluto came out and said that the front office feels that Gocong is more of an ILB than OLB which makes me scratch my head a little. The kid was a BEAST at Cal-Poly as a DE and had (not has, he's been standing up awhile) AMAZING pass rush moves. Gocong Fujita Maiava Roth is what I think our opening day starting LBers will be. Jackson is great at making a ton of tackles 5 yards from the line of scrimmage, but isnt really a playmaker. I think he would be great as a 4-3 WIL LB and will get moved during the draft, possibly to get back into the first to take McCoy. Rogers will be gone as well IMO, probably to get back into the 2nd. I like D'Qwell he has been a 3-4 ILB since his freshmen year of college so he knows the position. he is not a downhill type of player and i think that he would be fine in the middle just need to find someone to play the other middle spot to play behind the line

QUOTE(cardinal @ Apr 21 2010, 07:37 PM) If you are being completely honest when you say that "he has bad decision making", then you clearly have never watched him play. The reason me, and most of the other Browns fans Ive talked to, like McCoy more is because of his short and intermediate accuracy, and his super fast release. Clausen isnt a bad prospect, he's probably 10-15 on my big board. His immaturity is grossly exagerated. My problem with him is his slower, over the top release. I wouldnt be mad if the Browns took him, but I think we can get a more impact player in the 1st.

QUOTE(Gadsden86 @ Apr 22 2010, 07:49 AM) Off draft topic. I was wondering how you browns fans feel about Ray Ventrone? Ventrone is a good ST guy, average to below average as a safety. Decent in run support and not very good in coverage.

QUOTE(Eliptic @ Apr 22 2010, 09:02 AM) His immaturity is grossly exagerated. THANK YOU!! I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that. It's not that I hate Colt McCoy, it's just that Jimmy Clausen is so much better and I was blown away when degibson84 said that he had bad decision making, which is a perfect way to describe McCoy. Colt McCoy has short immediate accuracy because he can't throw the ball very well farther than 4 yards, which is why he'd be a great fit for Denver's offense with Josh McDaniels.

QUOTE(crpalmi @ Apr 22 2010, 09:58 PM) Haden...really?? There have been quite a few trade downs... your telling me we couldn't have traded down about 5 spots and still got Haden? Sure e still need DB help but that was a bit of a reach. Hope we have a strong 2nd and 3rd round! Word out of Cleveland is that all of the offers we were getting were horrible. Heckert stayed where he was at and picked up a great player. Brown is going to be a great mentor to Haden and Wright. Its bringing back memories of Dixon and Minni for me 4 picks tom. and Im excited!
