I am hanging in there...it's not easy but I have other guys that I have to take care of. This guy was amazing, and he will be deeply missed. It feels like I have lost a brother, I will miss seeing him in the mornings, him coming into dispatch talking to us.

If the teacher isn't responsible enough to stay around and supervise his/her students then it sounds like to me they need to get a teacher in there that will. Today his body was escorted from Lubbock County to Tarrant County (Fort Worth, Texas) Medical Examiner's Office for an Autopsy. Each County along the way had officers set up at the county line to escort his body through the county. They didn't do it because they had to, they did it because this is a fellow officer that has fallen. I am deeply saddened that this has happened, and it hits close to home. Toye

They had to put a stint in yesterday morning and they are going to have to put another one in but they said it would be on an out-patient procedure. He also told her that her heart was not damaged, that it is pumping normally, but had they waited there would have been damage and chances of her having a bypass would have been greater. Again thank you all for the thoughts and prayers, we really appreciate it!! Toye
