I have the following assorted base card lots I am looking to trade. These are the only lots I have. The lots are mainly base cards and some have some minor inserts (not really looking to break them up and too difficult to list what is in each lot). There are cards from all major brands (SP Authentic, SPx, Donruss Elite, etc) in the lots as well as lower brands (Score, Topps, etc). and there are duplicates in most. In exchange I'm looking for player lots of A-rod, Bonds, Gwynn, Griffey, Jeter and Mantle. PLMK if you have anything to offer. Thanks.

May have to double-check the lots but the count is pretty close. If I do break up any lot it has to be a deal of at least 50 cards. I'm looking to trade a little more value for value rather than cards for cards. Main reason is I recently made a trade where most of my cards were newer (late 90's to 2000+) and of higher brands (SP Authentc, SPx, Donruss Signature, Leaf Certified) and I received back cards from late 80's/early 90's and alot of low-end Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Score and even some non-certified cards. I wouldn't expect someone to offer me Mantles at even value for Bernie Williams or Pedro Martinez.

As one of my fellow collector''s says, "I will not trade at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted. For whatever else you may think of Beckett and its effect on the trading card industry, I believe that it is the only objective standard available. If our cards are of the same Beckett BV, I will not trade in your favor simply because you think your card is "under rated", or "sells well on eBay."
This explains why I don''t trade at eBay prices - if I have a $20 card that sells for $30 on ebay, and you have an $80 card that sells for $20, and you only trade your cards at ebay prices, does that mean you owe me more in trade?? Or does it only pertain to your card if higher on ebay?
I can never understand why people look for cards on eBay and expect to pay that much for cards on other sites. If the card you wants is selling for $20 on eBay, and people are asking $30 for it on a site, then buy it off of eBay. If the card you were looking for was selling on eBay for $60, and someone on one of the sites was asking only $40 for it, would you tell him you'd pay $60 since that's what it was selling for on eBay??? I doubt it VERY highly!!!

As one of my fellow collector''s says, "I will not trade at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted. For whatever else you may think of Beckett and its effect on the trading card industry, I believe that it is the only objective standard available. If our cards are of the same Beckett BV, I will not trade in your favor simply because you think your card is "under rated", or "sells well on eBay."
This explains why I don''t trade at eBay prices - if I have a $20 card that sells for $30 on ebay, and you have an $80 card that sells for $20, and you only trade your cards at ebay prices, does that mean you owe me more in trade?? Or does it only pertain to your card if higher on ebay?
I can never understand why people look for cards on eBay and expect to pay that much for cards on other sites. If the card you wants is selling for $20 on eBay, and people are asking $30 for it on a site, then buy it off of eBay. If the card you were looking for was selling on eBay for $60, and someone on one of the sites was asking only $40 for it, would you tell him you'd pay $60 since that's what it was selling for on eBay??? I doubt it VERY highly!!!
