Earlier today, NFL superstar Troy Polamalu announced that he will be cutting his famous hair on Veterans Day, November 11, 2013, as part of The VFW Mane Event. It has been more than 10 years since Polamalu has cut his hair. He’s doing it now to help draw attention to the struggles of our country’s heroes. The VFW Mane Event is a nationwide movement to raise awareness of the issues our veterans face and to support the ongoing work of the VFW. Polamalu is leading the movement, challenging his fans—and all patriotic Americans—to stand united for veterans by joining him in The VFW Mane Event.
