Lowest I've seen it sold is about $200. I bet it's up around $250 on epack...

Yeah, another overpriced epack product. Someone will buy it, but if you can afford it, then you can afford the price to have it shipped as well. laugh.gif Not worth the risk IMO.

It seems what little other trading there was in Goodwin and MVP has died now that Ultimate is on there. Heard a lot of whining about how much it is compared to hobby shops, yet people are buying it and it seems like it is the only thing being traded.

Unfortunately it's going to be all the people with big money doing that. Someone on a different site calculated it out that someone has already spent around 15K on it since it got released on ePack, based on the amount of cards they have.

Currently looking for:

Cal Clutterbuck, Lee Stempniak, and Paul Stastny
Also Current Sabres Rookes

Seriously, that is insane. Must be nice to have that kind of disposable money. Can you even expect to get that kind of return out of packs? At $50 a card US, I cannot imagine doing good enough. Only way is to hit a McD shield or 1/1 or 97/99 and then maybe? Not sure. Would love to know what these people who spend like that do for a living?

I like struggle coping with spending money on a $100 box, let alone dropping 15K on cards in two days. There is a ton more things I'd love to spend that kind of money on, if I ever had that type of disposable income.

Also, the fact that they are giving away Shields as achievement cards is absolutely ridiculous.

I agree, but are they game used or event used??? That whole achievement system is rigged to those who spend the $$. It is not for the low to moderate collector. UD is killing the hockey hobby in my opinion, but they realized they could get away with it on products like black diamond with 1/2 the product being a manufactured diamond and patch cards and a base card in a $200 pack.

Epack was a nice thing where collectors could trade and build sets, but the excessive cost of product and shipping killed that, might as well trade and pay the USPS high prices. You will probably save $ in the long run. laugh.gif
