A couple of older ladies at my wife's church have allowed me 1st crack at a collection of mostly older baseball & basketball cards. One of the ladies is in bad health & they are moving to Chicago to an assisted living facility. I'm guessing it's going to be mass produced 70's, 80's stuff. I did not talk to the ladies as my wife set up the meet & greet. The wife said she would bank roll me if I thought the lot was worth the time & effort in picking up. I have NO idea what kind of $ they are looking for, I'm going to let them give me a price. I think they want to sell it all as a lot.

Delayed until Friday, when I called today to set up a time they suggested Friday afternoon. She did ask if I were interested in more than cards, so that might be something. Man I'd love to fall into a treasure trove, if & it's a big if is anyone interested in a partnership if this is a huge collection?

Well just got back, took 2 car loads. As I had guessed the cards were mostly 80's 90's, there were some things to be cherry picked. When I asked how much? She told me I could have them, I said no and offered $100.00, then I asked about the other stuff, OH YES the other stuff. Not a lot of time tonight but over the next few days I'll put up some of the booty. I did pay for the entire lot & feel I stole the stuff.

Just going to put up a few pieces today, more to follow.

Little break from the toys to some cards. Found these in a small display 4 card per page book. Might have to do some grading on a few. Found some other MJ's these were the oldest.
