NYMETSJETS THREE CASE 2004 LEGENDARY CUTS BASEBALL BREAK

Going to be breaking 3 more cases of this stuff and figured I'd share the wealth and get some TCC members involved. These are unsealed boxes that may/may not have been somehow packsearched for cut-autos and other higher end cards. I have opened 4 total cases and for the price that I've been able to get them, they have been pretty stacked. There has been 1 cut auto, and 1 additional cut auto in a case I got for another member. There have been ton's of HOF GU pulled inlcluding Mantle, H Wagner, Jackie Robinosn (3), Joe Dimmagio, Ted Williams, Roger Maris........the list goes on and on.

THE BREAK:
There will be 27 spots available. The break will be a draft of the hits, so spot 1 will get first pick of all the hits pulled, then down the line all the way to 27. The order will then restart at 1 and go back down. For each of the tiers, everyone pays the same within that tier, then I will do a random.org live video of the names in each group to determine the order for that group. We will draft for 4 rounds, then the last two hits per member will be assigned by random.org. During the draft, I will update regulations for the draft prior to the start. Expect some time limits for picking your spot to make sure the draft doesn't drag on.

EACH SPOT WILL BE GUARANTEED 6 HITS FROM THE BREAK. Hopefully we will end up with three hits per box with at least 5-10 total additional autos. I will fill in the rest of the hits from my personal collection of this product to get to the number needed to get everyone 6 hits.

Also, if you want base from a particular team let me know and I'll include a base lot for you in your package. If you want a set (and don't mind on waiting till I can organize sets) I would ask that you send $3.00 for additional shipping. I'm assuming I should have plenty (I don't think there are SPs) to put together sets but I haven't tried yet.

The break will be live via Blogtv or posted box by box on Youtube depending on when things occur. Videos will be recorded and posted either way.

I will be happy to pick up all spots that don't fill by then, and may grab more spots along the way, but figured I'd start with leaving a good amount open to members.

Also, to start, no member may pick more than one spot in a tier, or sign up for more than 3 total spots (rule doesn't apply to the host ).

No worries. I knew everyone wouldn't like it. Sometimes I come up with stuff that works, sometimes I think I just confuse everyone when I get too fancy setting breaks up.

I did think about it a while and it seemed to be the fairest way to allow people to have a somewhat equal chance at hits (better hits for the higher $ spots), everyone will recieve the same number of hits (6), and members of different budgets could join. It provides some gamble for those who want the top hits in the break and allows for those just hunting for a nice handfull of HOF GU and maybe an auto for there PC to join for a lower price.

I would have loved to go team based but I just couldn't make it work for the limited number of teams that dominate the product. Most of the teams that dominate the product would have to be $100+ and I thought that was going to be too high. I also didn't want to make rules to try to explain all the older teams that have moved/renamed/are no longer around.

So....we'll see what happens, I'll take care of everyone that joins very well and as I've mentioned, I'm more then happy to keep most of the spots for myself. I've also decided that one of my own cards that I will be adding to the draft to make sure everyone will get 6 hits will be my extra Jackie Robinson Ultimate Swatch GU that has a slight indent on it (would be nice addition for a PC collection).

Also, like some of my other breaks where we draft hits. Trading spots/picks is encouraged once the draft line up is determined on Friday.....which can be just as fun as the break/draft.

Since we missed last night through today with TCC being down, I'm going to go ahead and extend the deadline to 11 PM ET tonight for entry into the break. The break will be on Saturday (at least started on Saturday) and completed by Sunday with videos and pictures posted so we can start drafting! This one will be Youtube Style with pictures following the videos (CRPALMI style). I will do the random videos for draft positions tonight after the deadline.

OK guys, I guess we'll roll with our current group. I'm watching the end of the series and I'm exhausted, so I will probably just wait untill the morning to do the random to determine the draft order. I'll take any stragglers untill then as well if there are any others interested in the break.

Yeah, was hoping it would fill more but I was too impatient to wait longer to fill more as I wanted to get into the boxes (and it was just bad luck that TCC was down a good part of the week).

This will be fun and hopefully we'll have some trading from the members we do have. I'm going through everything now and should have videos/pics/lists finished before too long.

I was very tempted to pull another spot last night...even went to paypal and logged in..but I just can't afford it right now, even though I am pretty certain we will come out way ahead on each slot...I am excited about having one of the top seven cards! Figure that alone will make it worth it out of that HUGE stack of boxes....

I do want a base set, can I mail you the payment rather than send paypal?

Drafting should be fun, I'm sure since I have so many picks I'm sure I'll end up sniping some cards right before others have a chance to pick them, but hopefully you guys won't be too upset with me for it .

Overall, I think we did very well. We hit some great HOF on-card autos. I was a little dissapointed we didn't hit any more of the really big name HOF GU cards, but the autos more than made up for it. I think all the middle teir spots will do very well for their money, and I'll end up with some very nice cards with the top picks (but no monsters like I'd hoped). We also hit a few cards I need for my Ultimate swatches set which I was hoping for so hopefully I'll land them in the draft.

I'll probably get started with my picks this afternoon but will be occupied most of the night and I also let a couple members that were going to be busy this weekend know that the meat of the draft wouldnt really get going untill tommorrow, so we'll see what happens. I'll follow with the complete list, and then my picks when I have a chance to review everything.

Looking at the price guide...I don't recall any Ripkens and some of those Dual cards would have been cool, and yeah..you did alot better with the big names in your first break...I think it will still be agood value though!
