Went to the card show today just to pick up a few base for 2014 A&G and look thru some Dollar boxes - always have trade bait with me but don't even take it out because my collecting needs are semi stars at best and the dealers always want my high end for next to nothing. Yes, I know, they have to pay for the table, make a profit , etc, etc.... Really wanted to bust a couple boxes but was short on cash except to make some minor purchases. Ask one guy if he ever traded boxes for cards? "If it's something I can sell." was his reply. So I let him look thru my trade bait and he starts grabbing all the high end stuff. We book everything out, I tell him I'm interested in the 2014 Topps football jumbo box
( 10 packs, 50 cards each pack) and a box of 2014 A&G . I ended up trading 3 times what I would have paid in cash for the boxes but really wasn't going to miss the cards he picked. Still, just felt the remorse as soon as I walked out of the show. Here's the football...
