The newest scam on ebay is homemade patches, swatches and logo cards. I almost bid $20 for a logo of lebron. Before I did I went back and read description. Buyers beware. If you want a cool looking card for your collection ok, but you'll never be able to get your money back later if you paid a high price for them!

A couple of things. One look for serial numbers!
Two read the descrpitions closely, they have to tell you they are not made by manufacturer that way!

I just got caught up becasue there was a minute to go. But I stopped and checked. They cards look very professional also. So they are cool pieces for your collection, just don't drop a ton thinking you are getting an original!

oic. i guess this is why we need the exact pictures/checklists of all cards made by a manufacturer. posting them on their official site would be a big help.

UD and topps have their own previews. i wonder if fleer also would put pix since they are now back up.

Fleer (the company) is not back up. They are simply now a brand name available for use by Upper Deck. As an Upper Deck product though, I would expect to see Fleer products handled the same way as any other Upper Deck product in terms of previews, checklists, etc.

as always, very enlightening, bob.

the first fleer product under UD ('05 UD Fleer) has just been released. it would surely aid collectors who need the info on fleer sets if they were published online. also, i personally wouldnt mind checklists and pics from older fleer/skybox sets to be relisted online, maybe on the UD website but under a new fleer section.

Thanks for the heads up and info. It looks to be true! biggrin.gif

Here's some info:

"2005/06 Upper Deck Fleer Basketball Cards Box

Each 2005/06 Upper Deck Fleer Basketball Cards Box contains 10 NBA trading cards per packs and 36 packs in display box.

Upper Deck continues the tradition of Fleer Basketball, with a 242-card release, including 200 veterans and 42 Rookies (1:2 packs), highlighted with Fresh Ink Autographs in every other box, Memorabilia cards 2 per case (1:6 boxes) and either an insert or rookie card in every pack! The set is mirrored by Crystal Form Parallels seeded 1:3 boxes.

Ship 1-18-2006"

Less than $50 per box, so it appears to be one of Upper Deck's new low-end products.
