QUOTE(metsfan2427 @ Mar 30 2009, 11:01 AM) Now i really see why alot of people hate tcc. TCC is more laid back than the majority of trading forums out there. Additionally, anyone who "Hates" TCC is welcome to leave at any time. TCC does not beg anyone to join or stay. My reply to your quote is nothing personal.

True. If you want to see "harsh" rules on bumping go to somewhere like SCF where it can get you suspended. QUOTE(Stlouisrams1600 @ Mar 30 2009, 01:22 PM) I really hope your kidding. TCC has a real light take on the bumping matter.

QUOTE(ffman @ Mar 30 2009, 03:26 PM) True. If you want to see "harsh" rules on bumping go to somewhere like SCF where it can get you suspended. Which SCF is that? I'm guessing "Sports Card Forum" not "Sports Card Freaks". Oh my take on the "bumping" thing is: Just as others have said just saying "bump" or "ttt" or putting a single punctuation mark of some kind is boring and annoying. It is really annoying when done one or more times within 3 hours. I see it on other boards (not just the trading card boards) all the time. One thing that I think people tend to forget is not everybody is going to be visiting the board at the same time you are. It might take up to 24 hours for anybody to see your thread and be interested enough in opening it. In the case of potential trade threads hopefully they see the thread read it, and then look over their collection to see what they can offer before they respond. premature bumping is like those jerks behind you that honk the second the traffic light has just turned Green. Oh and rather than add a second post right behind this one, I decided to edit this one to add the other thoughts I had just after I originally replied.
