It's time to get our April Multi-Sport Group break thread going. You join the group by selecting any available team (from any of the 4 sports - Football, Baseball, Basketball, or Hockey). Once we have filled up all 40 of our slots and collected the $75 slot fee we'll hold a draft (randomized order) where you can select another team (in any sport) and then use a reverse order 2nd round where you draft your 3rd team. You must hold a team from at least two different sports by the end of the draft. We will however allow trading following the draft so if you want you can end up with all 3 teams in the same sport via trade. **NEW RULE** - If at the conclusion of the draft you would like to trade one of your teams for one of the unclaimed teams (regardless of sport) there will be a short 6 hour window to do so on a first come first serve basis. This time needs to be short so we can start accepting bids on those unclaimed teams.

As usual you get every card pulled from all the boxes broken and we will do the best we can to split the budget evenly between the 4 sports. Because this will be an on-going monthly group you will have the right to retain your first claimed team from one month to the next but the other two teams that you draft will be returned to the pool each month and are available on a first come first serve basis. If you have interest in joining us you can select any unclaimed team to start with...just let me know. Once we fill 40 slots we will continue to take names for the waitlist as well.

We have 07 Sweet Spot Classics quite a bit on the list and that would be a possibility to add it depending on what the final costs are on some of the bigger boxes like CUP and NT.

Was a tough decision giving them up but had to lose one team. I got one Timmy auto from Exq and a few other players. And the George Kelly cut auto so they were pretty good to me. Good Luck

Sorry to do this so late guys but I have been having a heck of a time finding a few of the products on the list so I have no choice but to switch it up.

I had to switch out the 2 boxes of UD Premier Basketball for a box of 2008-09 Exquisite Basketball and we had to drop one of our two boxes of 2007 Exquisite Baseball as the price shot up and that helped even out the costs more amongst each sport.

If this change causes anyone to change teams or even drop out I will understand but I had no choice. I actually had the two Premier boxes ordered and paid for and they came back a few days later saying it was a mistake and both were sold out (as is everbody else).

Good news...bad news. The numbers were a bit skewed so I added the 2nd box of Exquisite BB back in and took out the 06 Sweet Shot Hockey. We're about $60 over but there's no easy way to cut out a box to keep all the sports fairly even so I'll just eat it. The result may be that in the future I may only put out a product list after the main (hi cost) boxes are already found and purchased as I hate to keep changing so late in the game!

We have an open slot but don't feel pressured into it. That slot is already worked into the budget anyway. If you see a team you want feel free to grab it but if nobody does by the time a few more payments are in I'll just take it to fill us up as we need to start drafting soon!

Just a heads up that due to a couple drop outs (Patriots, Raiders, and Rams) we are now offering the opportunity for folks outside of the 2009 Exquisite 4 case break to join us by purchasing a randomized draft pick for just $30 per pick. We should have as many as 16 picks available and we won't post any limit but I would be looking for paypal today if possible so we can start our draft. Bad news guys as I still have not received the 2007-08 CUP box yet. It was ordered last weekend but wasn't sent until Wednesday. I hope to have it Monday. Rather than wait I would vote for holding the break Sunday night (sorry I can't do it Saturday anymore) and break all the boxes we have and then finish up with the CUP when it arrives. Do others agree or would you rather wait to do it all at once?

Once EJames makes his final pick we will have a short window of time to allow folks to trade in a team for one of the 2 unclaimed teams if you wish and the multiple team requirement is off at that point so it doesn't matter if you would end up with 3 of the same sport. Trades will also be allowed and also the silent bids for either of the two remaining unclaimed teams. The minimum bid is $12 per team and the deadline for submitting bids is Sunday at 5pm(ct). Because of the tight timeline and the fact we're still waiting on one box we'll hold off until Monday night to hold the break. Unfortunately my son has a soccer game so we'll have to do it at 9pm(ct). Hope that works for most and good luck to all in the break!

We'll have to have it eventually as I don't think it would be right to change products after people bought/drafted their teams based on us having a box of 2007-08 CUP. I'm still hopefull I'll have info soon but in the meantime I am on the lookout for another box just in case the first vender fails to come through.

Sorry, I was going to email the Hockey participants again but the situation seems to keep changing every day! I apologize again but it seems that everything that could have gone wrong has! I have continued to contact the original vendor of the CUP box I purchased and they advised they would have more in stock early this week. They advised it should be in Tuesday so I asked them to let me know when it was actually in-hand. As a precaution I went ahead and ordered the 3 boxes of Premier (as our replacement) from another vendor. By Wednesday I still hadn't heard from the CUP vendor so I emailed again and they said they now expect it in on Thursday (today) instead. Meanwhile, yesterday the Premier vendor emailed and said they made a mistake and can only fill my order with 1 box of Premier as they didn't have 3 in stock. So last night I ordered another 2 from yet another vendor. Long story short I will still attempt to buy the CUP box today and if I get a DC# that it is on the way before I get the last 2 Premier boxes in hand then we'll wait for the CUP. If not, we'll go with Premier but I doubt it will be this weekend as I expect (hope) to get the Premier boxes Monday or Tuesday.

Just to make sure everyone understands, I almost exclusively order all boxes and cases through 3 vendors (Blowout, Dave and Adams, or Atlanta Sportscards). Unfortunately in this case the products in question were all out of stock so I did go with other vendors but I will do my best to pick products that I know I can get from those 3. I hate to limit the products we can choose from but I would hate to go through this again!

Once again my apologies to all who are delayed because of this and I hope I can make it up to you with something a little extra if I get a chance.

Another update and more bad news. It seems as if every bad thing that could happen has happened! I returned from my trip to get an email from the place I ordered the replacement OPC Premier boxes from and they said they ere actually all out and they processed a refund. In looking around nobody seems to have this product anymore either! In an effort to get this thing done I am going to have to switch the product to 2007-08 Sweet Shot plus the one box of OPC Premier that I was able to get. I will add in an extra box of Sweet Shot for the delay so that should give us 6 boxes of Sweet Shot and the OPC Premier. I'll order the Sweet Shot today but that means we probably won't have it until Thursday. I'll update again when I get the dc#. Sorry once again but hopefully this solution will allow us to finish this one and spread some extra hits around.

This break continues to be the break from hell for me. Once again I have good news and bad news. The good news is I got the tins of Sweet Shot last night from DACardworld...the bad news is once again (for the 3rd time) they did not have enough to cover the order as they only sent 5 of the 6 I ordered and gave me a credit on the last. Five tins combined with the one box of 07 OPC Premier we have is actually more than enough to equal the cost I spent on the CUP in the first place but I had planned for the 6th to be an extra for the long wait. Instead, we're just going with the 5 tins (plus Premier) and I'll try to make it up to you guys later on rather than delay this any further.

Break will be tonight at 9:30pm but will be a quickie.
