You "think"/"believe" everyone should think and be like you. Of Course as you will say I am puttiing words in your mouth or I should not presume to know what your thinking etc... But your action and words show what you are...Words mean things! I give you the right to believe that drival you put out (an your welcome) but you do not afford me the same right. I don't want stop you from saying what you think...I just want to stop those who want to stop me from living the way I choose.

The chain letter is more true than not. If I must compromise my core beliefs to keep peace then I will fight. Forget giving in to the race baiting, freedom destorying, socialist liberals, moral corrupting, God Hating, Sodimite elevating, people. Most liberals would put down their weapons (if they had any) and follow blindly like the people of Germany in the 20's an 30's. Ask them how that worked out by 1946; and yes I do have German friends, one was even in the German Airborne, He loves America. I will not give up my right to laugh at obama dressed like a witch doctor or at George Bush in a chicken suit snorting cocaine. You don't like it...tough...leave!!! I will not bow or bend to the leftist statement..."Can't we all just get along?...It takes a village to raise a child..." Bull!!!! Ask a woman who is being raped if she just wants to get along...ask someone being robbed if they just want to get along! You see the differance between you and me is I'll kill the perp with out blinking an eye...they chose their fate. You see CHOICES HAVE COSIQUINCES... Sorry Steve did not mean to rant but really the level of testosterone in this country is at an all time low.

Richard, Your just plain downright dictorial. Okay Mr perfect you agree with me that the black panthers using weapons to cause fear in more conservitive voters. your people pushing and knocking down peacful protestors and I'll agree to pull the constitutionly rights of these peoples right to mis spell. Man Steve was right it is like talking to a dumb rock (dumb rock is mine, Steve was more diplomatic). You need to quit throwing rocks from inside you glass asylm. I typed this whole thing out without spell check so feel free to get the rope out...I have a tree and a horse in the back.

Steve, Would you PM what was up there, I cannot see it or it was removed. Ironic how Richard can post links to things he finds offensive. Kinda proves my point I made in his "heading to Tampa thread". Thanks JP

Edit: Never Mind it showed up! That is Hilarous!!! biggrin.gif laugh.gif smile.gif

Not Offensive at all...Except the Sadness of the Truth it portray's!

I am sure that is what Richard meant! LOL, JK Richard NR

QUOTE(srsly_chris @ Jul 1 2012, 09:17 AM)
Break is in roughly 4 hours...

here is the website. Link is in first thread.

www.blogtv.com/people/srslychris

*** Clear up a few things ***

Any Duals, Triples, ETC Will be random live on blog unless someone owns majority of the card.

All Cards go to the team Printed on the card (Per Usual)

All Expos, And any other teams that no longer exist go to current team.
*

"All Current players cards go to current Team"

The quote (above) in the first post contridicts this latest statment.
"All Cards go to the team Printed on the card (Per Usual)"

If the second is the way we are doing it then if future breaks you should not use the first statement for it is wrong if you meant what is posted just a couple posts back.

"Per usual" would not apply if you change the rules in the first post.
I was curious why you would say, "All Current players cards go to current Team" when this was not the usual way back when I was part of breaks several years back.

Do not take this as calling foul...I am just saying the OP needs to state that more clearly in the future.

I am not griping just seeking clarity for future breaks is all.

Mojo to ALL!

Good Debate. I have one Question;

When has ANY budget projection by CBO, Prez, Repubs, Demos, since the inception of the lie called social security or welfare EVER come in right on or below estimate?

The way I read the OP any current player goes to their present team. WHich is good for me, "when" Pujols are pulled. I believe any retired goes to the uniform they are wearing on the card pulled. I am just curious about the cut Micky Mantles since they are in a group all by themselves. But without stating any stipulation up front concerning this set, well, the rules seem clear. I thought long and hard between Houston and Padres but from my count of those two teams cards the Astros have 5 and the pads 6 and I was willing to forego a 1 card advantage for a Nolan Auto.
Good Mojo to all! I would like to see us all get some PC. JP

Alex Williams is a local player from ALexandria, LA. He was drafted by the White Sox in 2012 and played for Louisiana Tech. He played 1st base. Looking for any thing that comes out as it is released. Thanks for the effort.JP

Obviously Obamacare works too. You knew what I was talking about. wink.gif

Either way, if this country is as smart as I think they are we won't have to worry about it because the Repubs will win the Presidency, take over the Senate, keep the House, and repeal it.

SO true...when a polititian (either side) thinks something is "good" they do not mind calling it by another name, i.e. obamercare, Bush Tax Cuts, etc... But when it turns to bite them in the "gluteus maximus", they want it called by the real name so as to distance themselves.

Richard you are correct, it has been sold by every administration in the past 23 years; but even more so the last 3 years.

Richard,
What I am fixing to say is for you and has nothing to do with the rules of this board and the policy of writing certain words. That said so as not to receive back any thing about you (Richard) saying you were talking about the rules. I understand them.
The context of what you call cursing or implied thereof, was not cursing per say. The context was such, I was calling carter a "donkey" and yes, there in lies a derogatory meaning based on usage. If you are as up on the use of language in context, as you seem, you would understand that I was not using it to call carter the gluteus maximus, but a donkey. I guess if I would not have blocked the two "S's" it would seem more likely that I was talking about a donkey, I did it out of habit more than anything. I think, do to, the subject matter and your politically leanings, you misinterpreted my meaning. You said,"I take a great deal of pride in my writing, nonetheless, it has been misinterpreted before and I have no doubts that it will happen again." I did not place an adjective in the sentence because I could not find an alternative word to express my thought, the word was part of my thought.
If you (not this forum) are offended by the word I wrote; Pray tell, why are you going to Tampa to be in a crowd of people where I am sure that your ears and eyes will be loaded with fowl verbiage? If you limiting your offense to this forum only, okay. I have no problem with you on this board Richard. But as a man of 50 and years of dealing with people in many walks of life, your track record speaks louder than your underlined words both politically and the choice to take the lead in dealing with the breaking of a rule. I am not angered, nor do I have an animosity toward you. I still question your decision to call me out on a post you started and one in which you have a vested interest. I am sure if we met on the street we could sit and drink a cup of coffee and you would find I am the same in person as I am on these boards. I do not a**ume your motives or your character...Your words and thoughts speak to that as do mine. I do judge people by their words, actions and the tone of their writings (in person I judge the inflection of words and body language).

As to the slide show: I did not find it as advertised.
I thought most were Funny as the ones made of Bush. Some I thought were in poor taste and poorly made. Some where funny, truthful and well made. I am not offended by any of these or the ones equal to these your side makes attacking my beliefs.

"That stated, know this for a fact, that I will attack, design, print and distribute creative, thoughtful and scathing responses to filth like this . . ."

Wow, I'd say that's a problem---ATTACK!!! FILTH!!! You need to look at your side's signs a bit more without the rose colored glasses.

I do not get offended by signs, but by action.
Hilter did not burn cardboard...he burned HUMANE BEINGS that's hate!!!

I never worried about the guy I was arresting calling me kkk, telling me to pro create with myself, calling my wife a lady of the night, that he was going to kill me or other such verbiage. I worried about a knife, gun, or his fist, feet, head and teeth. I never went to the hospital over words, but I did many times from fist, feet, head and teeth (was blessed to never have a true weapon used on me, like some of my partners). I even believe in the right for this scum them to say those things, even though they saying them about me and mine. It's called the 1st Amendment. (Your guy flint helped that one out, remember?) Your side and my side are not physically harming anyone with there signs. SO WHAT!!! Both sides spew hate and act racist... my track record shows I do neither. I do hate the actions of obama and his socialist policies destroying this Great Country, but that is different than hating the man.

Why the picture of my flag, the Battle Flag of the South. I have one on my helmet, along with an American flag.(I hate wearing a helmet, one of the stupid laws) A lot of homes in my area have the US flag on poles in their front yards and beside it at on a slightly lower standard the Battle flag of the South. Anti christ, I don't think so...obama's not the right race, color, religion, not of the linage of David, he was not born in Bethlehem...Plus some other things.

JP

91 F150. Beat up and ugly. I keep it because I can do most all of the work on it. Radiator, starters, tuneups, brakes etc. Bought the wife a 05 Dodge Magnum.

Would really love to have the truck of my youth, a 1976 Chevy Silverado with a 454...never lost a race in that truck and the lil redneck gals loved the bench seat with out seat belts bothering her movments. Used the gas but I had a good job and few bills in High School...Man, those were the days. Oh I got it(bought it) from my dad in 1978 after he got him another one.

QUOTE(ffman @ Jun 23 2012, 02:14 PM)
The sitting president has little to do with current gas prices.  It fluctuates constantly.

Gas is lower today than I can remember it being in a long time - and it's not because of Obama or Bush.  Nor was the high gas prices last year or in the summer of 2008 Obama's or Bush's fault.

But, if it's high - the other party likes to point it out and place blame (see Steve's image above).

I agree to a point...directly they have no power. Go back if you can find it at the trends of gas prices in election years. I believe you will see a pattern. Nothing about gas price is a coincidence. IMO

Redwing...I am glad we have a place like this, even if it is on a sportscard site. That is the best of America...is it not? thanks, glad to know your out there.

Steve, I am not out to change Richard,I am out to let him know I am out here. I do not hold any ill feeling toward him on a base human level. However I took it personal, that he, while having a dog in the fight, took it upon himself to use his position and apply the letter of agreement of this site to further his position is this tit for tat political argument . I once started an investigation into my partners actions under suspicion of a criminal matter, once I had hard evidence my hunch was correct, I turned the case over to someone else as competent as myself with the same authority. The end result was the same, jail for them; I could have done the same job and could have put my name on the paper work and got the arrest, but I let someone else, that did not have a personal attachment to the individual, work the case to remove any assumed partiality or vendetta.
I appreciate the advice Steve and we have been on this site for a very long time, but I was careful, I think, to not directly use Richards name when retorting his liberal ideology. Like as to a Senator on the floor...he imply's toward a certain member without actually using the other Senators name; the IMPLIED is understood but the letter of decorum not broke, but the spirit of decorum understands. People like the rules as long as they long as they can use them to further themselves. I believe the spirit of laws and rules are sometimes more important for they demand more wisdom and intelligence than does the letter. Any idiot can use the letter of the law, but it takes men with honor and wisdom to apply the spirit of a law. The letter demands justice be served but the spirit allows for grace. e.g. when I wrote :ali and buda"; the letter was used to call me on it, while the spirit would have understood who I was speaking of and that I was degrading those two ideologies. For the sake of the letter I will explain: If my spelling throughout the post was wrong or my thoughts were unclear, then I could see the spirit of what I did being misunderstood---but the letter must be applied by, as he stated, the "unabashed liberal" to try to make me look like I did not know what I was doing. I do not care to much for Ali either Richard.

There in lies part of the problem. The old adage, it is a recession until you lose your job, then it is a depression, or this one, I did nothing when they gourd my neighbors ox and then they came to gore mine and there was no one left to help me.

Liberals cry and use hatful verbiage such as calling us "raciest", so we back down and concede. They march and we back off. We want less regulation and they claim we want dirty water and air; so we back off not wanting to be seen in this light. The only way to stop a bully is to show them their own blood. We stopped water boarding to get vital intel because some whiny liberal thought it cruel; I say whatever it takes and at all costs to save innocent lives. Our own boys get water boarded to know the effects before they apply it to others. I am not pro destruction of the environment or the inhumane treatment of other human beings without just cause, but I am an America first guy. Let the other guy die for his cause. It has always cost the blood of a few so we may have the freedom to type words like these from the comfort of our homes. I will oppose the ideas like Richards to the last breath, but I will fight to the death for his right to say them. That is the difference between us and them...they do not want us to have this freedom (maybe not Richard per say) but the liberal ideology at its base does not like opposing views and does use any means it can to get good people to back off. I have faced death on behalf of others more than once...the just for the just...let the bad guy die when they attempt to destroy a life of an innocent in any way.
