Hello again all. After almost 7 years of group breaking the Boxbreakers group disbanded in 2013 after getting burned out running 6-7 ongoing breaks on a monthly basis. Last year I cracked and brought back just one of the groups in the FB Casebreakers group. I am now keeping it simple doing live breaks with no website and fancy stuff like that... just the cards and some good friends breaking together.

I am now ready to bring back one of my other favorite groups that we ran for 3-4 years and that is the Multi-Sport group break. This one allows you to get exposure to higher end products in all 4 major sports. For those that were in the group before, many of the rules are the same but I lowered the slot price from $75 to $50 to make it more affordable. Here are the fast facts;

You join by selecting two teams from among any of the 4 sports (Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey). You can pick two from the same sport or go different sports but that's your call. We'll then draft an additional team (or two depending on our final number of participants) and one of the requirements is that each slot you hold has teams from at least 2 sports (so if you select 2 from the same sport your drafted team must be from a different sport). The cost is $50 per slot and the focus of this group will be higher end products from each sport (Exquisite, Five Star, CUP, National Treasures, etc.). The products could be from any year over the last 3-4 years or so depending on where we can find the best deals but I will do my best to spread the budget as evenly as possible over the 4 sports. Remember, with high end products, while the payoff could be great, there is also a possibility you could be shut out. Even when this happens it's still an exciting break to be a part of when you see your break-mates get some incredible pulls, and with a high end product list each month there are always some incredible hits.

So who's in? Remember, you join us by selecting 2 teams that are listed as available below. It's first come first serve and the breaks will be done live via USteam or similar format.

Thanks Mike! We'll continue to add more slots if we can. We will draft one extra team each and then the remaining unclaimed teams will be offered up in a silent bid auction for participating members only. This has generated an additional $150 for our product list in the past so I thought we'd try it again. I'll get a couple product list choices up soon once our budget is more clearly known.

No, the thought was to generate more revenue for the product list so would have $400 per sport instead of $350 as that can make a big difference in what products can be included.

If people would rather stop at 30 slots and draft 2 teams each instead of 1 we certainly can. Let me know what you guys think.
