Stuff about my collection

entry May 12 2015, 11:19 PM
On Tuesday 12 May 2015: Another 3 package mailday all three from Ebay.

Package 1:
4 cards $5.99 + $2.32 shipping all in good/very good condition
1956 Topps Baseball:
4 Carlos Paula Nationals
49 Pedro Ramos Nationals (a duplicate for me another Pinholed Pedro this time time pinhole is at the top center edge)
51 Ernie Oravetz Nationals - He looks a lot like Brian Dietzen who plays Jimmy Palmer the MEs assistant on NCIS.
75 Roy Sievers Nationals

Package 2:
one card $1.25 + $2.50 Shipping
2010 Topps Opening Day Baseball: 80 Nick Johnson Marlins Blue #d 0991/2010 - Silly me I already had this card. Wasn't sure so I decided to get it. That is what happens when you watch a card for a very long time on Ebay.

Package 3:
2 cards $1.50 + $1.00 Shipping
1954 Topps World On Wheels:
3 Connaught British Sports Car
4 Buick Toy Tonneau 1910

The seller put in a couple of post cards as a BONUS. I'll have to research them one looks to be a little newer the image looks sort of 30s/40s art deco type but has a zip code and a phone number with an area code so it is more modern. It is for the Hotel Carter in NYC. The other one is from when mailing cost of post cards were just .01¢ for domestic, Canada, Great Britain and Germany 02¢ for Foreign (Great Britain and Germany weren't Foreign then?) It shows the Trinity Building and Broadway. It has a crease across it. Made by the Success Postal Card Co. Publishers NY - card no. 1037 or maybe 1637
