is it time for box breaks to come to the hockey marketplace?

you let me know guys and iw ill host a break for you and break it live on youtube or even ustream

i need 15 people
looks like i have 5 to go

i want to know first if there is a desire for this!

i have done this for basketball, football, and baseball

maybe something like sp authentic or masterpieces?
the thing i am noticing about hockey hobby is that there seems to be more "Value" in a box than some of the other sports
like multi color patches and short printed rookies and autos

The Hockey ones are harder to fill as less collectors here. There is two monthly group breaks for Hockey though (but that is less than say Football). Though one can't tell until one tries. Just a FYI in the Masterpieces, not all the teams are in that product, same with 06-07 Parkhurst.
Good luck if you give it a try, probably not something I can swing at this moment as funds tight right now.

understandable just trying to gage interest before setting something up
also understand that funds are low
my biggest issue in this would be how to price shipping as i would imagine that most cards would heading to our friends north of the border

About a 1/3 of the members in my monthly hockey break (and the other monthly one of Bill's) are from Canada. It used to be cheaper to ship to Canada, but they figuired that out finally. Depending on amount of cards of course, but last months shipping cost in my break was $1.85-$2.02 for US and $1.90-$2.62 for Canada packages (2 boxes 06-07 BAP and one 06-07 Parkhurst, the BAP doesn't have a ton of cards as only 8 packs a box). Also Paypal fees is a tad more from Canada, so instead of .88 it comes out closer to 1.03 on $20 in Paypal. That is just the fees, supplies not figuired into that as I usually eat those myself.
Gives you a slight idea on that anyway, as it can vary a bit but it's a ballpark.

i have to brush up on my hockey knowledge been a while...but it looks like they seem to have added value with multicolor patches and lower numbered cards...it also seems like the base rookie cards actually hold value unlike football/baseball/basketball

i dunno if ya'll want to do 1 random team/1 drafted team or if ya'll want to do pick 2 teams

fleer ultra would yield 6 rookies and 2 autos or mem an 1 rookie redemption
artifacts yields 1 rookie redemption, 3 mem, 1 auto, and 2 rookies
ud series 1 yields 6 young gun rookie cards, 2 jersey cards

soo there would be a total of 2 rookie redemptions, 3 autos, 5 or 6 jersey cards, and 14 rookie cards

without SPX and with Fleer Ultra it is 16.75 a person
with SPX without Fleer Ultra it is 19.80 a person
