i am looking for a group of people who hit the minor league parks for in person autographs. this group would serve as a trading club to help each other out with obtaining cards needed. for instance, i have a carolina league team in my area and would be interested in trading for cards of players that will be playing here this year. it will beat paying the crazy shipping costs on Ebay!!! please let me know if you are interested and we can begin to post some want/need lists and work out some trades! hope we can get this going...would be of benefit to in-person collectors, i think.

nick...wow, you have some great stuff. do you do this full time or just on the side? i'll be getting together some cards when the teams announce rosters and i'll try to post a want list. feel free to do the same. my card stock is heavy in the eighties and early nineties (great for coaches). i got out of collecting for a few years in the late nineties and picked it back up over the last several years. hope we can get a few more guys to help out. would love to put some of my old commons and newer cards that i will never do anything with to good use.

So say you send me 4 cards of x, I would get 2 signed for you, and keep 2 to get signed myself. If you wanted to do that, that would be cool, or we could trade unsigned cards, whatever you would want to do.

i was thinking more of trading unsigned cards but that is only because i had not thought of trading signed cards. we'll figure it out when the season gets started. hopefully, we can get a few others involved.

I don't have a minor league team by me but I do have an independent league team called the Ducks. They get a bunch of X MLB players on there team and some young guys. Juan Gonzalez, Edgardo Elfonzo, Carl Everett, Jose Offerman,...ect, but I always get autos (being I have season Tickets) and I hate paying so much for shipping for card that are probaly worth nothing.

i am sure i can round up some carl everett, dave lapoint, and bud harrelson cards. probably have some damian rolls around too. i used to have some estee harris cards but he signed them for me when he played with the charleston river dogs. i have actually been wondering what has happened to him. check out any of the rosters for the carolina league teams at www.carolinaleague.com i'd be willing to trade for anybody you have that might be coming thru the carolina league this year. let me know. also, i'd be interested to know if pete rose, sr. shows up at a game this year.

i have about 500 IP signed cards and numbers of other thing (bats, balls, ect.) But i dont do it much anymore becasue the The Wranglers left so i got to Omaha every once in awhile
