Collector Zone _ Hockey _ 11/12 ITG Captain-C product

Posted by: northicehero99 Mar 8 2012, 05:57 PM

I got an email yesterday from In The Game regarding a new product coming out at the end of March. The format is similar to what they have done with Decades, Canada vs., and Enforcers. I beleive there are 5 foild base cards per box/pack (1 pack box) along with 5 hits (autos/memorabilia). Presell boxe prices are in the $88 range. This one looks interesting and seems to have a decent checklist.

Captain-C Checklists are live

Captain-C celebrates the players who guided their teams not only on the ice but off the ice as well, the Captains. The players who proudly wore the “C”.

The Captain checklists are now online, go to the ITG website to view the Base Card, Autograph and Game-Used Memorabilia Checklists.

In The Game has a reputation as having the best hockey cut signatures in the business and the cuts in Captain-C will further enhance this reputation. The checklist includes; Maurice Richard-Montreal, Neil Colville-New York, Syl Apps-Toronto, Bill Durnan-Montreal, Ed Sandford-Boston, Doug Harvey-Montreal, Sid Abel-Detroit, Ott Heller-New York, Toe Blake-Montreal to name a few.

Among the incredible Game-used Memorabilia inserts sets will be the very popular Jersey & Auto set featuring some more recent Captain's like Theron Fleury, Boone Jenner, Mike Richards & Mats Sundin!

Captain-C will be released on March 29, 2012. Go to the ITG website to check out pictures of some of the hits and the checklists.

Looks cool. We should give it a try in the box break club.

I am hoping that it will still be around next month when we go to do the group. Looks like very limited in production (4000 packs) based on the product flyer. If that is the case it might be sold out by then as it releases too late for this month.

Should be an interesting product for sure. But yeah if it's really that limited it might not be around very long.

Looks like this one came in today, one day earlier than the estimated due date. Now have to hope it does not sell out.

Technically, was not early, just about normal time considering we are a few days away from April.

As for the low budget break, that is up to Dwight, what he puts in the products. Would be nice to do, but not sure.

laugh.gif Was not sure what you had planned for LB group, so I could not say. As for Bill's group, I hope there are boxes left when we get ready to order in two weeks.

Direct from Dr. Price's mouth:

So might get hard to find real soon, depending on where it was all sold to.
