I live in Atlanta Georgia. I moved here in 1993 after 10 years in the US Navy. Huge Braves fan ( But still root for Detroit, my birthplace) I love the big city, the pro sports, museums, diversity. I also love the thrill of going to the thrift stores. a couple months ago I saw a baseball in the display case. I asked to look at it and saw it had writing on it. " Adam Laroche 2nd home run ball from Sept 9th vs Washington Nationals. It landed in our snack bag." In a cube with the game ticket stub for a measly $6.95. Then it struck me, I purchased the ball, took it home and drafted a quick letter. " Adam, I hope you are in both good health and good spirits. Found this ball in a thrift store here in Atlanta and thought you might like it. You were kind enough to sign a card and a ball for my daughter when you were here in Atlanta. I was hoping you could do me a favor and have Bryce sign some items I've included with a stamped self addressed envelope for my daughter's and my collection. I know he gets so many requests that he can't possibly get to them all. If you can't get him to sign the items please return them to me for our collection. Thank you and God Bless"
